Kitchenaid microwave kmhs120ess door fell apart

Doors for microwave ovens are usually replaced as a complete item. I would ask the person who forgot to fix the door latches properly back to fix it properly. If some of the clips were snapped off when removing the door panel, the panel must be replaced or it will fall out again.

Kitchenaid oven racks fall

I am a bit late on this question, but just ended up in a rabbit hole of unanswered Kitchenaid questions The self cleaning features only serves to keep manufacturers in steady sales of parts. Quite simply the oven can only take those temperatures a few times until they break. The heat burns out elements, damages fans, door locks and worst of all damages control boards which are not far enough from the heat source. You problem sounds like the walls of the oven have buckled in the heat so the racks no longer fit. Too late now, but you should have taken Kitchenaid to court, the oven was not fit for purpose under the description they used to sell it to you. Never use the self cleaning feature as stated here https://www.google.com/search?q=self-cleaning+oven+temperature Never Ever use the self clean feature. We see damage here every couple of weeks. The worst was a burned control board on an oven that all parts were obsolete, so the self clean cost a thousand bucks! Self-cleaning ovens bring the heat so you don't have to spend hours scrubbing. Traditional self-cleaning cycles heat the oven between 800°F and 900°F, helping turn soil and spills to a powdery ash you can then wipe away. They utilize only heat-no chemicals-and are built to withstand high temperatures. (Says Maytag who love selling elements, door locks and other parts),

It's a guess, but something mis-connected on that new board. They usually have a number of edge connectors and you have two on the wrong pins. A guess never the less.

KCMS145JSS kitchenaid microwave start button doesn't work unless I hold it down the entire time it's on.

sounds like Touch pad/Keypad/Membrane Switch is bad or control panel is bad. You can go online and using your model number search for parts, or have it repaired. If your order parts do you have the skill, knowledge and tools to do job? You could end up throwing parts at it. Personally I would weigh the cost of repair plus the age of unit versus a new one.

KitchenAid Superba KEMC308KSS0 Microwave oven acting like we're having repeated powerline brown-outs, but we're not.

There is a huge capacitor inside microwaves, and that description sounds like it is starting to fail. There are smaller capacitors as well. It won't be a door switch, they work or they don't. I had two Panasonic Commercial microwaves in a pub kitchen, one plain and one was a combination machine and both had drop down doors.

I have a Kitchenaid built-in microwave, model KBMC147HSSO that seems to run OK but will not heat. I suspect it is a bad magnetron. The oven is nearly 17 years old.

I have a Kitchenaid microwave KCMS145JSS0 that had a loud buzzing sound, stopped heating and there was a smell of burning electronics. It is about 19 years old, but can not be replaced because it is built in and you can not find a microwave anywhere that will fit in the opening of the 24 inch cabinet. So I had to fix it. Turns out the problem was the Magnetron. This is what I did to prove the problem. First open the unit, discharged the high voltage capacitor with a short across the terminals using a test lead from my VOM analog meter. Next disconnected the connector to the Magnetron and started the microwave. The buzzing sound was gone. Powered off the microwave and again discharged the capacitor. Using my VOM on the highest ohm value tested between the terminals on the Magnetron to ground and had a reading, it should not read anything, it should read open or infinity - Magnetron Bad. Just to make sure the other high voltage components were good I performed the following tests. Checked for continuity of the 3 different circuits on the high voltage transformer, all were good. Tested the capacitor by removing all the leads connected to it and discharged it once more. With the analog VOM set to the highest value, touched the two terminals on the capacitor. The meter should swing to the right and move back to the left as the capacitor takes on a charge. Did that just fine. There is a high voltage diode connected to one of the capacitor terminals and the other end to ground. With the analog VOM set to the highest ohm setting touched the meter to the disconnected end and ground and got a reading. Reversed the meter test leads and didn't get a reading, infinity. I was very confident the Magnetron was my only issue but decided to replace the diode along with the Magnetron because it was $20 compared to the $160 Magnetron and I had that smell of burning electronics. With the new parts the microwave now works great and no need to reconfigure the cabinet installation.4ae0592f-2f48-49d0-887b-5e06be0f2b42.jpgimg_20201115_120324276-gbuu514lwj4gf3zniqowptdg-6-2.jpg

Would I find the wiring Schematic inside my KitchenAid YKMLS311HBS Microwave?

Yes, unless a technician may have removed it during a previous service. It should be located behind the controller assembly, sometimes in a small envelope.

At my Web site, I have a video showing you how to remove a typical microwave controller in about 5 minutes.

Kitchenaide microwave relay clicking then shuts down.

Yes, it is probably a bad relay. Usually appliance techs just replace the whole control board, because those relays can be hard to find and buy.
