Power wont stay on

It sounds Kirby has a new model with a new type of switch go back to the shop you bought it , if you have not read the manual , a tip , 1 look how the dustbag is connected it must be good connected if not the problem is there , second the hose the hose must be connected good because if not the problem is there more options are not there for the master switch . if its controlled that the switches are god pushed in by mechanic parts of the dustbag connector or hose connector , it must run and stay on power the dustbag is the one that is the most probable connection what maybe not enough is turned to the motor housing have a stabil working on -off switch. if it not does made difference go immediatly back to the shop. with proof of purchase, you get an other new one if its a factory failure. or the powercable was accidentially bruised between a door or linger behind the powerplug and that why its faltering maybe.

I had just changed the belt and I turned it on to see how it was working , and I noticed that it sounds like the motor is working hard

Take the belt off machine, try machine with the belt off, if motor sounds OK, try spinning the brush before putting belt on, if brush does not spin freely, see what is clogging it. When brush spins freely, reassemble correctly and try. "I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. Check out some of my other posts if you need more tips and info."

When I push the handle forward it comes back and when I pull it back it pops a wheelie and goes forward please help

I've had that exact issue with a Kirby Diamond Edition. What has happened is that the bracket inside the machine that activates the forward and back motion of the tech drive has come out of its slot. The only way to fix this is to disassemble the machine and put it back into place.

Replace fan

Replacing a broken fan in a Kirby is not an easy job. You have to take off the handle, the top cover, the front piece covering the fan and then stick a wrench down onto the motor shaft to hold the shaft tight while you stick an awl or small screwdriver into the hole on the spindle sticking out the front of the vacuum. Turn the spindle to remove it so you can remove the fan. Install the new fan and reassemble the vacuum.

The brush roller will not turn. The roller is about a year old and was working fine. The ends turn

If the roller ends turn (are not jammed by hair etc.), then there are tthree things to look at: 1. Is the belt that drives the roller in good shape? 2. Is the belt engaged on the motor shaft 3. Is the motor turning?

Kirby G3 made loud noise when running. Sprayed

No - the silicon is an insulating material and would have no effect on the electrics of the vacuum. Most likely you have a bad connection - dismantle the vacuum again and check the wiring and the motor with an ohmmeter. Be very attentive with the brushes, if they don't sit perfectly on the collector the motor will not run.
