Wiring pic for Kirby vacuum power switch. can't get the clips to fit on the receivers

If the receivers are different than the clips, you may need to go to a car parts store or a hardware store and replace the clips on the ends of the wires with ones that will fit. God bless your efforts.

My handle for my kirby

Your handle lock is mostly likely stuck. I had the same thing happen to me. I tried to see if there was any videos that could help me but, there was none. Well, I notice that metal bar was sticking out at one end. So I place a flat screwdrew or in my case crowbar with that flat in one side, I placed that side of end that metal thing stick out and just hammer back inside. That's it.

My kirby heritege the bar is not spining the belt is fine

Remove the clamps from the suction nozzle and pull out the roller. First of all check that both ball bearings are in order, so dust and hair free and run easily without too much play. Look carefully at the different depth marks on both sides and Make sure that they are reverted to the same setting marker. The belt is in the middle and with the square gray dial in front of the suction nozzle, you fully tighten the string so that the red color face of the top is visible when you look through the hole of the suction nozzle you see that the belt is tightened and in this Position may leave the belt for a short period of time, as always as soon as possible, ensure that the tension of the belt is off after each use.In short, in the tightened position, place the suction nozzle on the mounting bell at the bottom by lifting the motor housing slightly at the front or adjusting the depth adjustment as much as possible, just what you want, first place the suction nozzle on it and fix it with the clamp and then Couterclockwise turn the gray knob into the green mode. Ok, my kirby just stopped working. I had someone

When was your Kirby made? If you have an older Kirby, inside where the motor lies is a single or double magnet with a spring coil attached to it. Within that coil is a filament wire held together with a shiny disk at other end. This filament does go bad from time to time and needs to be replaced. This usually is not a do it yourself job. If you can find the proper filament, you might but usually there are several types and sizes, let your local distributor change it for you.

My Kirby isn't picking up everything. The roller does spin.

If your model has the indicator light make sure it glows bright when the brush roll is spinning. If it isn't as bright or flickers when vacuuming the carpets replace the belt. Be sure to replace belt at least once per year.

The kirby wont start no power

Start by checking to insure you're getting proper voltage through the cord. Make sure the bag emptor and front brush roll nozzle are installed properly as each must activate the switch for it to run. It could have a defective switch.

Kirby vacuum brushbar not moving

If it is not a brand new belt start by installing one. Belts lose elasticity and should be replaced at least once per year.

Kirby sentria diamond pulls to one side while transmission is engaged

The transmission wheels should turn in unison. If one wheel is not spinning equal to the other the vacuum will turn rather than going straight which likely indicates the transmission will need replaced.

After my son vacuumed up maybe a lego theDiamond G Kirby started sparking from inside housing. We took brush and checked for any loose items and found none. Any ideas and can I diy?

Sucking up a Lego or similar item normally should not have done any damage to the motor. It may stop the brush roll which may burn the belt if the belt is tight. If the item got sucked into the fan it may have broken or cracked it which could seize the motor. Remove the brush roll assembly, spin the motor shaft while you inspect the fan. Fan replacement is best to be done by an experienced technician.

Kirby won't power on

Make sure the bag emptor is on all the way, it pushes on a lever on the switch that must be engaged. The hose or nozzle housing also pushes in on the switch that must be engaged properly. Make sure the cord is carrying proper voltage and cord inserted into vacuum properly.
