Paper does not go in straight when manualy fed and begins to crumple
When this happens it is usually because there is a small piece of paper stuck in the paper's path, probably just the other side of the roller. If the printer is meant to take listing paper with holes in the edge, it is very easy for a piece to break off because the edge is perforated. Often printers have a 'straight through' pass and you can access the back of the rollers via a door at the rear of the machine.
Make and Model of the printer are useful in such questions :>)

VIP 7100 WITH VOID AREAS
Corona wires need to be replaced, or developer rollers are worn. Wires are the cheapest to replace, but it most likely the developer. You'll need a developer kit and service manual to replace. Your best bet is to contact an authorized service dealer.
