HOW TO TURN OFF Co2 Alarm BEEPER?
Question edited for clarity. Please don't type in all CAPS, it is considered SHOUTING and is harder to read.Question moved from Washing Machines Category. Is it hard wired or battery powered? Replace batteries. Remove the cover and vacuum it with the circular vacuum brush. If it is older than 10 years it needs replacing. If it is a Kidde, there is a hard wired electronic timer in it that beeps at 10 years and doesn't stop. It is written in tiny writing on the back. I found that out the hard way. :>)There is also the possibility that there is a constant Co2 source from something, heater, furnace, stove etc.

Schematic for a Kidde model KN-COSM-IB
Three things about this:
1 It may be under recall depending on its age and if it is over 10 years old, replace it.
2. The unit has a radio active source and should not be tampered with.
3. The information that you are asking for is proprietary and not available.

Hi,
I have two
Carbon monoxide detectors have a fixed life span. You did not post the model number and there is no way to tell how long it ago it or the parts in it, were made.
My alarm beeps at night for a short period
if it is about a smoke alarm with a battery in it, when the alarm beeps for no apparent reason, it is a bult in indicator that the battery is flat or approaching a low voltage and needs replacing
If it still beeps after replacing the battery have it checked out as a fire alarm is critical for your safety
I have model kn-cob-lcb-ca...it does
send the detector back and have it replaced,
