I don't personally know this model, but all my remote access units have had a key slotted into them so I've not had this problem. Your vehicle handbook may well contain the info you need to get into the car - but of course, it's locked into the car!!
I suggest that you search online on the kia site first of all. You may then have to widen the search depending on your results.
Just had a thought, replace the battery in the remote access unit. This should sort it (unless of course you have to drive the car to go and get a new battery. - this is Murphy's third law, which states that whatever you need fixing can only be done by using the thing that needs fixing!!). Sorry about that, I wasn't having a go at you. It just struck me as ridiculous and therefore quite likely.
