Keurig Coffee maker not taking

Mine started off that way, then quit pumping any water through the K-cup. I overcame the problem with a reusable K-cup. If it will run a full cup through without the K-cup in place, this will probably work for you. They are available online and at some national chain stores for about $15.00. It's a little more inconvenient than K-cups, but better than throwing out a $150 coffee maker.

My Keurig Model 840 coffeemaker heats water but when I push the lighted blue button it shuts off and does not brew

Buy a new one. The fix will cost more than the unit is worth.

I have the Keuirg mini

Same here. (I have the Mini Plus B31) Called Keurig and these are the steps they walked me through. Not sure which part actually fixed the problem, but it worked.

1. Turn off machine. Using a paperclip clean out the holes in the needles (3 in the top, one in the bottom of the k-cup holder).

2. If water is inside the heating core (assuming it is as nothing happened when you tried to brew), with the machine turned off, press and hold the brew button. After 5 seconds the pump will kick on and discharge the water. Make sure you have a cup in place to catch the water.

3. Dispose of that water.

4. Unplug the machine.

5. Wait 5 seconds.

6. Plug machine back in.

7. Turn on.

8. Run empty cycle without a k-cup and only use the minimum amount of water (6 oz).

9. Dispose of that water after it brews (hopefully).
If still nothing is happening, call Keurig.

10. Brew your coffee, tea, choco, etc.

Note: was told by Keurig rep that whenever you use hot chocolate, to run an empty rinse cycle afterwards before brewing another cup. This will help prevent any choco from going up inside the machine and possibily blocking the water flow.

Hope it works! Mine did after following these instructions. The rep also wanted me to measure the amount of water that came out afterwards. Not sure what the next step would be because my call got dropped, but the machine works. Sipping on a cup now...

Keurig chugging noise when I turn it on...............

I believe it is not problem. Some models make that noise when they are heating the water.Ours does the same chugging noise but works well. We have a different model also and the second one does not make the noise but then it is a later model without the bells and whistles of the first unit mentioned.

Keurig serial number is 48 4300 067 4953 what model do i have

To properly identify a model for which you don't have the carton or manual, remove the water reservoir and its lid, and set these aside. Remove any pod if present from the pack holder. Carefully turn the unit over and look for lightly engraved text on the underside of the base. It will read, in capital letters, something like "KEURIG SINGLE CUP BREWING SYSTEM, COFFEE MAKER MODEL K45."

I have a keurig K3000se - it says check water supply. I checked the hoses and connections and all are fine. Am at a loss of what to do.

I'm not sure how you are pumping, But I would check the pump unit, That's where I normally get those types of failures. I upgraded to a new external pump and never had the issues again. The pump I purchased was a newer model Flojet.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWU7XQ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Other things to check: Make sure there is no air in the hose. If you are directly connected to a water line, make sure the line is open. make sure the hoses on the back of the machine and on the pump unit are installed correctly. if you are in an area with hard water and you are not using filters or bottled water you may need to flush the machine. There are instructions for that posted on the Keurig website in the PDF instructions for the K3000SE. Good Luck.

Is there an auto off feature on keurig k-elite? It allowed us to set it to come on in the morning, yet not to shut off at night.

the best thing to do it put it on a smart plug, Cost about $15 now-days. you can program the on and off time as well as shut it on and off remotely.

What does prime mean on keurig coffee maker?

Prime means.... pumping. In other words the water in the machine goes through a water pump. That pump, pumps the water from the fresh water container in your machine and pumps it up through the machine, then goes into a heating element that heats the water and then of course flows over the coffee or tea that you put in your machine to give you a nice cup of hot tea or coffee. Priming is in a sense getting the air out or allowing the water to start flowing. If you have a vapor lock or air lock, you need to prime it to kind of help this pump start pulling the water up to the coffee. Hello, this is common. The pumps on these machines are not real good pressure. Sometimes you have to help it prime for the pump to work.So one very good way to solve the problem is to turn the machine on and lift the water reservoir up just a couple of inches and then jam it back in place fast and hard. With this way is like it injects just enough pressure into the system to open the check valve and when the motor pump will run you will realize that immediately water will passing through from reservoir to brewer tank. This procedure has to be done often between cups. From what we seen in internet their hundreds about the same problem but we have not see any serious response about it From Keurig's customer service yet.One other important and related problem frequently reported is the irregulars doses of coffee like HALF-FILLED CUPS of coffee e.t.aThis must be redesign from Keuring factory since there is not much we can do about it to solve once for all even if they will replace your machine with a new one you will have the same problem in few weeks. And definitely this not a problem due your Electricity in your area or due to hard water. However hard water areas will face bigger and more intensive the above problem so one more suggestion is to descaling the machine every week this will help a lot. If you find the above helpful please remember to vote for it Thanks Mike
