Yes it should if you are running Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8. You just connect to the unit using a spare USB port on your laptop and a plug-plug USB cable. It has it's own power so you'll need a mains socket. This means you can unplug your laptop and leave any devices charging on the docking station USBs. Your laptop should auto-instal the station. Once the device discovers it, you should be able to press connect on the keyboard and the Bluetooth pairing request with the code should pop up on your device. Most folks do not clean the trackball as most have wireless mouse that do not ever need trackball cleaned inside, but just need new battery replaced by pushing tab to open part where battery is.
