Follow these simple steps:
- Turn on the dryer by pressing the "Power" or "Start" button.
- Use the "Time Dry" or "Timed Dry" button to select the desired drying time. Press it repeatedly to increase the time in one-minute increments or hold it down to scroll through the time options more quickly.
- Once you've set the desired drying time, press the "Start" button to begin the drying cycle with the new time settings.
My Kenmore just stopped while heating something... shows No power... any ideas?
Your Kenmore Dryer has a number of things that can cause this.
Most basic, the house breaker has tripped.
The timer or electronic mainboard has failed.
The element has failed
One of the 3 heat regulation devices has failed or tripped out, one resets itself, the thermal fuse has to be replaced.
'make model (what it is)' in all questions please.

Kenmore bottom freezer ice maker not working.
- Reset the ice maker: Check the manual that came with your fridge for instructions on how to reset the ice maker. Many refrigerator models have a reset button or switch that can be used to reset the ice maker.
- Check the water supply: Be sure the water supply to the refrigerator has not been turned off or become obstructed. If the water supply is turned off or obstructed, the ice maker will not make ice.
- Check for obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions in the ice maker that would prevent it from making ice. If there is something blocking the ice maker, remove it and try again.
- Check the ice maker components: check the components of the ice maker such as the water inlet valve, ice mold thermostat or heater. The problem could be with one of these components and replacing them might solve the problem.
If trying these steps doesn't solve the problem, it might be time to replace the ice maker.
