Removing seat on Keeway 125

on the left side of the bike at the back there is where you can insert your key, put it in and turn, behind the key there is a lever pull it down and the seat will release, you need to pull up the seat at the same time.

good luck.

How do I remove the battery cover. My battery is

hi, if yout battery is dead kickstart the bike until it starts and then go and ride it for about 45minutes to an hour, this will put a good amount of electric into the battery. If the bike will not start then pull out the battery and place it on a flat surface, there should be a low and a high level, if it is below the low line take it to a local mechanic and either they will order you a new battery or depending on the type of battery they will add more fluid into it for a small fee.

good luck.

Hi i have a keeway hurricane50. it lacks power

Remove the exhaust and see if the power is back. If so, the new exhaust has an internal collapse (obstruction) and needs to be returned to the dealer for a replacement.

I need to know how to adjust the fuel ratio on my

check for a small brass screw on the carb. if it is on the filter side it is a air adjust screw, turn it out to lean out the carb. if it is on the intake side, it is a fuel adjust screw, screw it out to make it richer. the easiest way to adjust is to turn it slowly one way or another until you get the highest idle without touching the throttle, then adjust back down with the idle adjust screw.

G'Day

Thanks for coming to FixYa for advice with your problem. I will give you the best of my expertise to help you get it sorted out.

In short, yes you will have a carbie problem. Nothing to serious, it will be gummed up from being left with old gas in it. Petrol has a short shelf life. It starts to deteriorate almost straight away, and anything more than a couple of months old should be discarded if you want your machine to perform reliable with good performance.

Since you are able to get the bike to start, I would be putting some fuel additive in the fuel and see if you can clear the problem. there are many carbie/injector cleaner additives out there. I use Nulon, check with your local automotive supplier. The fact that it was performing badly befor estorage may mean there is some **** in either the pilot or idle side of the carb. Spraying carbie cleaner through the carb intake whilst the bike is running may also help.

Try these things first but if that fails, the best solution is to remove and stripdown the carb, and remove and clean all jets and pay particular attention to small passageways/openings. Use an aerosol carbie cleaner to assist you here, a compressor with air gun is also generally required. make sure you can see the carbie cleaner passing through these orifices and passageways. Letting things soak can also assist here.

Happy to talk to you further about your repairs. I have much experience in this field:) A testimonial and rating is a great reward for my advice to you is greatly appreciated. It makes helpijng out worthwhile and gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Hope you get things sorted easily. Cheers mate
