How to replace solenoid on Kawasaki FX801V

I replaced my 29hp fk801v Kawasaki on my lzz29ka606 exmark laser z mower today I am having trouble with the ignition wiring
As so as I turn the key from off to on [not in start position] the starter starts to crank the engine over a think I might have it wired wrong or maybe a bad relay the reason I had to change the engine was because it looks like something locked up in the engine and caused the starter housing to grenade just wondering if the starter running may have caused it to happen hope someone can help out thanks yal be safe

Why does my engine run perfect for 5 minutes then rough?

Sounds like a fuel starvation issue. Does the choke stay open? The motor could be overheating, too. Make sure the heat sink blades are free of junk.
