Replacement plug in charger for kawasaki dvd player
On the back/bottom of the unit somewhere, there should be a label that says something similar to:
"Power: 9VDC 1300ma"
and there will be a little picture of the polarity of the plug.
If so, take your Unit to Rat Shack or local electronics repair store and ask them for a replacement power supply.

As soon as I turn
You may need to isolate the problem. Double-check the connection and make sure that the cable is properly connected to the TV.
You may want to swapping the inputs to eliminate the possibility that there is a problem with the video input used by the DVD player.
Or, try power cycling the DVD by turning it off, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, then turn it back on after 5 minutes.
Try also connecting it into different TV.
If you get the same problem, you may need to bring it to the authorized repair shop for the second opinion or for possible repair.
Hope it helps and have a great day!

Wont spin dvd's anymore
You can try and clean the laser optics with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. Just open the DVD lid. It is usually a small glass lens ( often clear or blueish in color)
let the excess alcohol evaporate.
If that does not give more motor movement, its possible you have a defective spindle motor or drive IC
It sticks
You need to isolate the problem. Please try the steps below:
1. Try playing other DVDs to see if that would work.
2. Load the problem DVD into different player to make sure that there's no problem with the disk.
3. Clean the lens of your DVD/R
To clean the lens, you need to buy a DVD cleaner in any computer shop. If same problem exist, you need to contact the computer manufacturer.
Have a great day!

My is not spinning and gives the message that no disc
Hi dommami_2000 -
This is most likely a problem with the hardware, assuming you've already tried multiple discs. If the disc does not spin at all, the drive motor is likely bad. I would recommend excercising whatever warranty came with the unit, if still available.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I Have sound but no video
if its underwarranty i suggest get it replaced.
NOW , there can be two problems that can be considered faulty in this issue .one is very simple ,just remove all the external cables/wires connected to the PVS also unplug it from main power outlet for particular minute of time say 5 minutes.then connect evrything back as it was.then check out .if the problem gets solved and the picture comes on the screen then its due to loose wire.so not to worry.BUT if the problem remains same then its due to the another option is the backlight is dead.if it turns on for a second and then off, it may be because it's overheating for some reason and a thermal protection turns it off so it does not burn.in your case what happened -------- the supply to the backlight goes thru a small transformer like coil, which gets hot while playing, what has happened is that u might have played it for a long period of time by which the insulation coating on the winding has melted resulting in the wires of the coil getting shot and thus the lights not glowing .so its necessary to get the back light replaced but its a tough job and i suggest you to get it done by local repair center technician.and finally yes its wotrth getting it repaired.many a times if you are playing the movie on the battery connection, the battery is not completely charged or the battery is drained so this happens.
please do rate the solution.
thank you.
keep updated.

No disc message
If this happens on every disc then it is likely a dirty lens/laser. This can normally be fixed by running a good quality dvd cleaner. Hope this helps.
