Find the applicable wiring diagram and focus on the "violet" wire circuit connections from the engine connector to fuse and ignition switch terminal A.

Maybe fuel line issues.

There is a lot going on between pressing the starter button and the engine starting. Get yourself a Service Manual and look at the wiring and components in the ignition system. Your motorcycle should be a Kawasaki rather then the Yamaha category you put it in. There is no reason for the idle to take 10-15 seconds to slow to normal. perhaps you have a vacume leak. check all your seal and gaskets between the engine and the carb.also when it is running spray gummout spray or equivilent around the gasket edges between the engine and the carb, if the idle increases when you spray then you have a vacume leak. (intake leak). It may be that this is causing it to be hard to start when it is hot.(not getting enough fuel)

Check power connections and relays ---What is issue / not turning over --slow turning - not starting etc generic answer load test starter may be bad new doesn't mean free from defects - connections are clean and no damage bolted correctly

i would suspect needs valve adjustment

Kawasaki mule 610 new battery but little to no power to solenoid. Fully charged starter makes rapid clicking noise. When attacked to battery jump starter it will start. Mule was running excellent for 2 weeks with new battery. I was told by kawasaki technician it was ignition. Nope thoroughly skimmed inspected wires and see nothing wrong. Technician told me different second time, it's now the starter replaced starter ($450) and still no results I'm at a loss
