No. There is no factory password. You have to contact Kaser Corporation to get them to unlock it and they will give you a temporary password to get back into it.

Mambo Flix comes with it's own converter to convert videos.
The file format is correct but the encoding isn't. I suppose that the Mambo Flix identifies the video by attaching an identification to the video after conversion.

Mp4 format, i think, is widely supported by mp3 player.

Try to soft reset the player. If you can remove the battery, take it out for five minutes and put it back in. This will soft reset the phone.

But if same problem occur, contact the manufacturer and have them repair it for you.

In any case, even if the CD works, it looks that you have a faulty unit the laser on the drive is probably bad now but just in case it is just dirty, try to clean it with a Cleaning Disk and see if the problem disappear.

It depends on your version of windows. Download the driver. Make sure your Mambo is connected. This should be indicated when you go to computer. It should list all the drives and your Mambo. Then the driver media player utilities 2.2 should give you a screen that will show you how to convert files and send them to the mambo. Play with it!

You will have to convert the MP4 files to eithe rMP3 for music/audio and possibly .AMV for the video, but that depends on what chipset your player runs.

Can you post some more information about your player?
