it is possible the rewinding spring broke .

The motor has a fan on the top to cool it off and it is usually pressed on the shaft, they can come loose. The impellor on the motor may have come loose, there may be something stuck in the impellor area. Some of the motors have pressed on parts and cannot be repaired.

Sounds like it has been left with detergent in the pump and it has dried out and clogged. Always run fresh water through the detergent pump after use.
You will need to take the detergent pump apart or you may be lucky with water flushing through it.

ok ok the heater won't fire. ya burnt the element out that why it won't fire, get used to cold washes or get it fixed.

i rekon you have burnt out the heating element inside so you will have to just do cold washes.

Take the wand hose off the washer itself and you will likely find a filter outfit that gets plugged up. Take it out and clean it real good. Mine was full of stuff out of the hose that gets in when the hose lays on the ground and stuff gets in. Also if hose has been used to drain anything. My filter was plugged and with the pressure it created the washer would not shut off. There could be a filter in the wand area in some models.
