Hi,
Please restart the car stereo a few times in order to attempt to overcome the issue. If that fails, then we can restart the car as well. Otherwise, you can check the fuse within the fuse box next in order to see if it's damaged at all and replace it if necessary.
Thank you.
Hi,
Please remove all sources of interference from the jvc device (ie radio, microphone, antenna etc). Then listen to the sound again. If the issue persists, please use another power source and check the device cables for any damage.
Thank you.
Hi there!
Typically the red light on lots of appliances (TV'S in particular) indicate power is available to the appliance, is this so on your tv?
If so the first thing you should focus on is resetting the breaker associated with that power outlet or changing outlets. If there is a reset button on the tv then push it. After you do this we can go on to the next steps- it sounds like the set is not getting any power so let make sure then get back to me. Good Luck and Thanks
Mr.Mike
Unless you have electronic schooling and the equipment don't attempt to fix it yourself, it's a guessing game as far as what board, backlights or panel is causing the issue unless you have equipment, knowledge and service manual recycle it.
You can search for the remote on-line, the manual should give you a model number of the remote. So you can search for that. If it is expensive or not unavailable, then get a good quality universal one. Preferably one that searches for the device itself, which will save you messing around looking for the codes.
Hi,
scm might stand for skip-continuously-mode where songs play in no particular order. To be sure, we would need to look at the list of modes in your device's manual. These are where all acronyms are usually explained.
Thank you.
Hi Kyle, It isn't really recommended to bypass any of the safety switches in the TV.
Maybe there is some other switch you can buy and install on the TV.
What is the model number on the TV?
Check each set of wires and speakers to be sure no wire or lead is connected to a chassis ground. The radio will see this as a short and turn off the internal amplifier causing the on but no sound issue. Each speaker connected to the radio needs dedicated positive and negative leads from the radio to each speaker.
HOPE THIS HELP!
First of all, check if there is any audio device connected to the receiver. If there is, check if the audio device is turned on and the volume is correctly set.If the receiver does not have any audio device connected, then you should connect the antenna and try again.
Hi,
please double check all connections from your jvc device to your tv. You might have misplaced some plugs. You can use the both tv and jvc manual to ensure that you've made every necessary connection. Also, you can check that your remote doesn't currently have mute activated and the volume is turned up on the tv. You might have to turn the jvc volume up directly from the device as the remote might not be able to do this.
Thank you.
Hi,
Please make sure that the discs do not have scratches . Then, you can clean any lens that the jvc machine uses to read your disc. Afterwards, you can attempt to play the discs again.
If this does not work, please factory reset your device before attempting again. Otherwise, I think you might need to have the device repaired or potentially replaced.
Thank you.
Hi,
those buttons should be on the front of the boom box. But if you can't find them, please check the back of the boom box.
Otherwise, you'll need to use page 24 of the manual to help identify the buttons.
Thank you.
