Power not on or USB device not compatible

Hi, I think your battery is 100% OK, if the power supply is perfect there may be problem with the switch, clean it with contact cleaner spray often press the switch several times. if the switch contacts are not connecting, this will help it to clear it. open the cam, check the power supply on the main board, there is a small fuse on the circuit board test it with. eventually we have to suspect the mother board. if so should change it.

I can not access the menu on my jvc everio gz-mz37u to reformat the hard drive and HDD error is still showing, please help.

Hi, first of all my advice is: if you keep any electronics devices without usage for a long period, you must detach the battery/power supply. in this case I think the hard disk may be faulty, if you can open the camera and takeout the HDD connect with an HDD dock connect the dock to your system, in normal condition your computer will detect the hard disk, if so you can save the contents to your computer or you can format it, if it is not detecting your computer it means the HDD is physically damage. please change it.

Lost software to download videos, JVC Everio GZ-MG130

You do not need to buy, you may download the drivers for your camcorder from this link

http://www.pricecomparehelp.com/page/3458.html

Just click the download icon below the picture and select run to install the drivers.

After drivers are installed, plug your camcorder to your computer and turn the camcorder on. Wait until it finishes installing the drivers for your camcorder.

Now click start, then camputer you should see several icon with one having all or part of your camcorder name model.

If you double click on this icon, you will find one or more folders. Now you can download, delete etc all of the pictures or videos stored on your comcorder.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

Install windows 7 and need to install drive but

if when you say drive you mean DVD or CD drive then you might not have to install from CD if you go into your control panel then Device manager you will find your DVD drive there, then if you right click an go to properties then to driver, then update driver it will ask you to search on the internet. search on the internet an hopefully it will find the drivers for you. if this does not work you can al so try windows update this sometimes works as well. bet of luck :D

Broken video management file/ recording failure

Although the instructions don’t make it clear, it seems to be important that the camera is turned off before you connect or disconnect the USB cable. The instructions do mention that you should not delete or rename files on the camera except in the EXT_MOV folder. The camera’s firmware is apparently quite fragile about file names and the presence of the extra hidden folders that both the Windows and Macintosh operating systems create when you delete something.

JVC G-z-mg365bu video management file is broken

For broken files, everio will prompt you to recover once switched on. If you mean deleted by accident, you can use file recovery software like Final Data Enterprise and a lot more. Mostly can be recovered, sometimes 80% or 90% of your total recording. Good Luck

Imported videos onto computer, burnt DVD, will not read on Panasonic DVDS player, does it need finalising if so how.?

Depends how old or what model your DVD player is ? When I burn DVD's with my video editing software on my computer, some disks will not play on certain older DVD players, has something to do with video codes that the DVD player has to read? My experience is that my older DVD players will not play burnt DVD's from my computer, but will play in newer DVD players ?
