go to control panel and open sound and audio codec in that go to audio change sound recording

if your computer came with a motherboard disk the sound drivers could be on it control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound video and game controllers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers hope this helps

Hi there,

From any port on a powered USB hub, you can draw up to 500 milliamps at 5 volts. This gives two and a half watts to play with; the peak draw of the SP-692p probably won't exceed two watts.

Actually there is a problem with sound card and no problem with your speaker. Need to download and install sound card drivers will resolve your problem.

Not to sound like I am taking the pi**, but arae you sure you plugged into earphone/audio out????
Try using a pair of earphones you know work and if you get sound then the speakers could be faulty.

I wanted to know what kind of external power supply it needed. I open the case and saw 4 diodes which tells me is a bridge rectifier circuit. I also looked at the filter cap and saw ????uF at 28 volts. Therefor, I did the Scientific Wild *** Guess( A.K.A. SWAG METHOD)
12 volts AC out at 1.6 amps or higher.

make sure the green highlighted cable is inserted into the green highlighted slot.

the first thing that you can do is:if you remember when it was working , please go to:
sart , a;; programs , click on accessories click on it find system tools and click from next window find,
system restoration and click
when it opens chose at least one day befor that you know every thing was working , then klick restor or ok
after a few minutes your pc will reboot when it comes back on click ok with popup screen ,
it must be working now, if not please let us know for more assistance

You can goto the manufacture web site for the speakers and download the latest device drivers and install them on your computer.

If this happens when its not connected to the puter or any input or at any volume then its the capacitors in the power supply are drying up. You need to replace them. Good luck
