Does the rc jumbo dragon

This is a two channel Dave, meaning that the radio is only capable of up or down, or to spin the tail left or right. You will get forward momentum out of it because the design of parts like the removable cockpit housing, or the weight of the battery pack way out front give it "ballast" for forward momentum.

This is very similar to the way the small indoor models work. You will need to get the copter trimmed out to see this happen. Keys to stable flight are to stay at an altitude that you prescribe,

"greensbr" did you ever find a source for broken

Hi Glen,

Your request was quite a chase with most links pointing back to this forum or to hobby shops where our iwave copter just does not exist.

We do have expert help here to solve our problems but at $12 $16 or $20 this is simply a ridiculous price to pay for one wanting a simple parts manual.

I finally googled iwave+customer support and came up with this link which shows some promise.
http://www.enigmatec.net/community_customers_support.html

I sent an email to the address listed in the link but have not recieved a reply at this writing. What I would like to have is an extra battery pack for the Copter.

If you do not have any luck with this, It is my thought that the iwave copter is manufactured by another company and sold under the iwave name. There are hundreds of different models of RC copters out there so it is my thought that you could probably go to a hobby shop that sell's these accessories with your "good rotor" in hand and they could probably match it up for you.

Please feel free to add a "comment" to this as we can keep each other posted on the return mail from [email protected]

Starts but wont lift off

Your battery pack is either not fully charged or perhaps you have a bad cell.
Did you do your initial charge for three hours as recommended by the Manual?

P.S. Do not overcharge

I cant get it from

Hi Robert,
The helicopter has a trim screw with adjustment procedure being said on page 8 of the manual. You are probably aware of this but I wanted to mention it just in case it was overlooked.

You may have also noticed that the torque of the prop with the skids on a hard surface tend to turn the craft in one direction but if you get it in the air, it may very well spin in the opposite direction. What this means is that you want to do your trimming based how the craft responds in the air.

I should not say this but am going to anyway. What I did was to hold the craft with a light grip on the skids in one hand then jogged the remote with the other. You can feel the initial torque try to pull left but as the prop rpm increases, you may then feel it start to turn to the right. What I would do at this point was to stop and turn the potentiometer screw but just a little, about the same distance of the width of the screw slot. I repeated this four or five times and ended up with the craft setting level in my hand with the rpm being almost enough for takeoff.

The machine has a fairly powerful little motor so I dont think you can cure the way the torque upsets the craft upon takeoff. My best advice is to get it in the air quickly with the remote trim in the full opposite position of the spin. It will line out quickly once you get the rpm up.

Need landing gear for bottom

Hi molinobigche,

What you need to do is to use your email account to contact [email protected] and give them a description of your problem.

They are probably going to have you go to http://www.iwaveaudio.com/support.asp and fill out an RMA request which is just your address and the like.

I went through this and my RMA request was denied because I did not have a reciept to attach to the form as I had recieved the Copter as a gift.

I sent them another email saying that I just wanted a parts manual to order from but have not heard back from them.

Have Heart! it is my thought that if you do have a reciept, they may give you an address to send the machine to for repair or possibly send you a replacement.

It wont work whatsoever...i dont

I cannot really see that you have it hooked up wrong as you have 1 female connector on the battery pack that can only be plugged into the charger or the motor lead on the copter.

Make sure that you have the pins oriented to the holes when you do your hookups. You should be able to hear the small locking tab snap into place. Once you know that this is correct, a small dab of white fingernail polish on top of either connector will help greatly to make sure they are oriented correctly.

And finally, did you check your wall outlet with another device such as a lamp or radio to see if it has power?

I need the adapter can

Imput-120v AC
Output-7.2 volt DC

You are not quite out of the woods yet as you still need the correct plug adaptor on the end of your power supply. If you are handy with a multimeter, the leads could be identified by yourself and the matching Male/Female plugs connected to the wire ends.
