On the stainless steel basket notice a notch cut out on the rim above the spout and an indentation on the back of the basket near the rim. The plastic ring must snap on to the steel basket before placing the assembly on the motor housing. If it does not snap on, it is not fully seated. After the ring is seated and on the motor base, push the basket on and spin it. Confirm that the basket clears the ring. Place the top cover with feed tube over the unit and lock the two clips down. This procedure should solve your problem.

Just call 1-800-233-9054 or go online to order part at foxinternational.com
If you live in Canada you may have to get them to send it to a friend or relative in the states--they have this part, but not at their Cdn depot, & they won't ship to Canada, or their depot for you...of course you can always try. If you live in the U.S. you are fine.
Problems with juice lady...advice please?
Try foxinternational.com
or call their toll free # at 1-800-233-9054. Note read this first:
Have your model # handy it starts with JL (ours is JL500, but yours may be different--you made need a magnifying glass to read it.) It is on the bottom of the unit, most likely--or, on the side. Hope you can get help there. They have some parts, especially if you are in the United States. (If you are in Canada please note:
Also has depot in Canada-but not all parts available there & they will not ship from the U.S. warehouse to Canada. If you have a relative or friend have them ship it there & have them forward it on to you. Send the S&H $ required to friend or relative...)

This may sound silly, but have you tried plugging it in to a different outlet in your kitchen-i.e. (as in an outlet that is on a different breaker? or fuse?) I thought our slow cooker was toast--& it was the outlet, not the unit. When we are busy or tired & frustrated sometimes we can overlook the simpilest things.
Is it possible you have a defective cord? Taking it to a repair place is your best bet if either of those ideas don't help. Call to get an estimate first--call around to parts & repair depots in your city/area, as the cost can vary widely. Some are very reasonable while others make you wish you'd replaced it instead!
Or ask around for a retired repairman that does repairs occasionally. They often charge a lot less-but you may have to pick up the part once he/she's identified the problem. Also--trade schools that teach repairs to small appliances may fix it for a nominal fee--or even just for the cost of the part--if a part is involved.
Hope this helps...
