This is a loose connection. Can you get the unit out? All of the connections except power (fairly sure about that) must be checked. Optional - if you can't remove the unit then you'll have to go to a professional. Put Jenson vx 4024 and your question in Youtube as well.

Bill,
Sorry that I have to be so general in answering this question. If there is a burnt smell associated with the occurrence of the problem, then that would point to a fault most likely in the audio output circuit. If the unit blows a fuse, then I tend to think that it is in the power supply of the internal amplifier. Either way, service is needed for the unit. It is best to disconnect the unit from your sound system and try to find someone qualified for this repair.

Beauty and Grunt! First of all, why is this diode broken? Were you using the unit when it broke and/or burned? More information please.

There is a shorted output transistor causing that to happen. There could also be a short in the wire from the amp to the speaker and/or a shorted voice coil in the speaker.

Does your Jensen have the AUX inputs on the back or front? You would need to find a Satelite radio with the Outputs that will plug into the AUX Inputs. Some radios have a special input connections for Satelite radios, so check the Manual.

I would purchase a standard loom from a car radio shop or an adapter for your vehicle.

Does it have a removable control head? If so, be sure that it is correctly seated and snapped into place. Also be sure that all plugs are securely seated like power, clock, speaker and antenna plugs. Good luck

You can buy an antenna multi plug adapter kit. Cheap. You can use it to plug into.

Double check the fuses to the unit then double check the ones specifically for the radio as well as the ones under the hood then re check ALL connections to and from the radio..
