Will the jensen a4000 run subwoofers
Its ought to. Thats what it was really marketed toward with the 2 channels bridged somehow and then put to individual subs in tandem. However, there is no built in crossover. This is a twenty year old amplifier and popular demand had not made it such that built in active crossovers came standard. In that sense its not a great choice for subs. My brother got one and it sounded like a## because he never bothered to add a crossover. Class a/b amps are sooper cheap right now. If moneys no object get a "2000w" amp for about 80 bucks on amazon or whatnot.
Their are 2 power wires,2 negative wires and 2 rem wires...how is this wired..im getting ready to get this put i
Some amps come with extra, power, rem, ground, so you can , power up another Amp Without runing to many wires. , or using a power block.like a parallel, being your 1st Amp your power block, and your remote, ground .
What amp should I use?
Yes they information available on them they are still around. You will need a class-D 300 watt RMS amp to run them at perfect power if i remember right they are 150 watt RMS,, 450 watt max per sub.// just never mind the max it means nothing. They are a 4 ohm sub i believe so you would want to get a 1 ohm stable amp. two 4 ohm subs can be run at 1 ohm wired in series. they are actually made by audio vox corp.to wire them is easy ill give a link to do so easy to use. and handy. let me look for some info on your sub...? Yes there is info out there here is another link. Need additional help give a shout.
