most all engine control modules I have seen , turn on ck engine light when you first turn ign switch to "On" this is a test for the light bulb then they go out a second later , other than that have someone use a scan tool to ck 4 codes and see if there correct , Not all fault codes will trip a ck engine light as some are considered a minor fault (1 example: low washer fluid)
a little known fact is that most national chain auto parts stores will ck your codes for free !! ask them!! they just might like to have the chance to sell you the parts to fix it

Cam sensors should pick up cams you have replaced if they are the ones the manufacture recommends for the vehicle.
Any other size cams may not be recognized by the sensor as compatable.
fit an amp meter in the ground cable between that cable and the battery terminal and get an idea of the current draw
to drain over night it will be a significant reading
take that reading along to an accredited auto electrician and see if it is a rectifier problem, diode problem or ECM problem
The mechanics talk new ECM (computer) but you can get good units from the wreckers of the same car as yours for well less than what you have been quoted
The job you have is to get the current reading when the car is shut down as that will point to a failed unit
Power locks/windows/and mirrors, all have wiring connections within the door panels. Connections may be broken/unplugged. Check and spray electrical cleaner on the plugs internal parts. Also, main switch panels may be broken individually, but not likeley. Check all fuses that power these items.
Steering wheel noisy while turning may be worn steering bearing on shaft. Check and replace as needed.
coolant sensor may be faulty or contaminated coolant may be an issue. first try flushing cooling system if it hasn't been done this year.
Second, look up specifications for the coolant sensor online and test sensor with a multi meter. If faulty sensor, replace.

Check for loose wires on starter.
Also, starter may have internal problem, replace if necessary.
Battery cables may have corrosion on them or are not tight. Check and replace as needed.
If you are certain that the blend doors are operating correctly (meaning that they are changing position properly and not binding, then you would probably want to verify proper coolant flow thru the heater core. Restricted flow due to a clogged core can reduce heat output significantly. At operating temperature feel the hoses leading into and out of the heater core at the firewall. If the return hose is noticeably cooler than the inlet hose, you could have a restriction.
Gear shift grommets/bushings may be worn or not aligned properly. If grinding, gear is not fully engaged. Check above items to correct, if doesn't correct, may have transmittion problem.
