JCB 215 series 3 goes forward in 4th only, reverse has all 4 gears
If the transmission is defaulted to 4TH gear and reverse and goes into gear harder than normal, along with no speedometer signal. These are all signs of power or ground problem. The transmission TCM should be mounted to the drivers side radiator shroud. We need to check the following pins on the gray connector. Pin 3 must have full time 12 volt power. Pins 1 and 5 must have good continuity to battery ground. Pins 2 and 4 should have 12 volts with the ignition in the run position. By re flashing the Allison TCM you ruled out a bad TCM they would have had problems flashing it.
