How old is the battery? You might need to warranty replacement it if its new.

Else, you could try checking the batteries wiring to see if its not damaged or broken.

First, it has to be in pairing mode for the computer to find it. Second, the computer is looking for a response from the speaker. Try pushing the Bluetooth button on the speaker. Also, you may not need to provide a key. Does the computer menu have an option for no key?

When you are actually in a call use the buttons on the side of the phone to increase the volume. It is usually the upper button, and can only be done when you are on a call.
