Its sounds as if your battery has gone open circuit which means if is now dead and requires to be replaced. Dont continue trying to charge it as you may cause damage to your tablet or cause it to overheat and start a fire.

Restart the computer and restart the application. This occurs with other applications that use the camera. Sometimes when the camera is used with another application it doesn't release the camera for use with a subsequent application. Restarting the computer had worked for me.

Surely you can use a little duct tape or something else to secure the battery in place. You might want to contact the manufacturer to see if they have the part or you can check on ebay under the camera model to see if some parts are also listed. Happens on many occasions..

See if it works with another known working computer - if it does, then you definitely have a software issue.

On paper those batteries are both the same. There are some subtle differences. Without using an amp meter on your chair, it is not possible to say if things have changed on the chair that cause it to pull more current out of the battery. Motor wear, gear and bearing/axel lubrication can affect the amperage that the chair needs to have. This can adversely affect the battery discharge rate.
