I want to offload video
That card is running the NVIDIA GeForce MX4000 graphics engine. Yes, it will offload some of the stress of the CPU onto its on board GPU. It will definitely help graphics performance.
This is a very entry level card, don't expect night and day differences to be noticed. Consider the JATON Video-558PCI-DLP GeForce 8400 GS 512MD 64-bit for a bit more power. Find it

Jacob

Physically remove nvidia 8600gt video card from
The video card is in the AGP slot on the motherboard.
There will be a plastic clip at the back of the slot that needs to be pressed to release the back of the graphics card.
When you insert the new graphics card this clip should automatically lock in the new card.
