Hi well i wasn't able to find much info on this unit, and that error code, I haven't come across before, so what I suggest is that you contact the manufacturer direct, link above, and ask them either for advice or for a service manual, so that you can troubleshoot things yourself, or if you do not wish to do that entirely, then, ask there also for a referral to a local authorised service center.
I also believe that there is FREE tech support, so one may as well avail oneself of this, in any event?

Do you find that the boiler water pressure drops over time?
Then replace the pressure relief valve. You'll find it in the lower part of the boiler connected to that external pipe.
Close off the water pipes to & from the boiler and then replace
On some you can dismantle the valve and clean the scale from the inside and it works again - but not always 100%
It's either this or the fill tap/valve is not turned off fully

If it is old, it may have sediment build up at the bottom. This can be drained. The heater element may have burned out also. We would need more information as to the age, model, etc. in order to provide any more information. Good luck!

***UNPLUG THE UNIT***
Take the cover off the back where the tubes go from the compressor into the freezer. If you can see into the freezer AT ALL, you have a mouse issue. Plug this hole with expanding foam. If you're getting room air into the freezer and your door seals aren't coming apart, it's usually from the rear. Make sure to melt all ice that formed in the bottom of the freezer before you plug it back in.

Sounds like you have caused a leak in the sealed system and the coolant is no longer inside it. You will need a professional to fix this.

Unplug from wall and let unit subside 1 hour. then plug back in and check operation. Was unit tilted or moved prior??

Cannot find the fault code . There are vidoes on u tube saying how to reset thr code By pressing the reset button . If this does not work youcan ccontact vaillent on there web page . I have a mate who works for them i will ask him as well

The P8 fault can mean many things when it pops up on your Mitsubishi Electric wall controller. The P8 fault is activated when the indoor coil sensor does not change the temperature for a set amount of time after the compressor is (or should be) switched on.
