Janome mb4 lost the bobbin thread but continued to keep sewing the design. I paused and rethreaded the bobbin. Do I have to start all over again? Can I go back to the point where it stop the stitches?

I`m confused whether you mean top bobbin or lower bobbin...You can go back to the point where it broke...Brother machines are far more simple when this happens...

What r u trying to sew? Type fabric?. Is the needle old? Is the bobbin old, chipped, dirty, set in backwards?

JANOME 808A MACHINE USER MANUAL

I did not find a specific manual for that model. Same question was asked in 2012 and 2017 without an answer on FIXYA, so it is unlikely one was readily available. Some other model manuals might be helpful to you: http://homeappliance.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/janome/janome_sewing_machine_product_list.html https://www.manualslib.com/manual/522797/Janome-Sewing-Machine.html There were several web sites with replacement parts, but not a manual shown using https://www.google.com to search, in case you are looking for parts.

How do I lower the feed dog on my Janome CM2200

You don't lower the feed dogs on the Janome CM2200. You need the cover plate to cover the feed dogs during free-motion sewing or darning. The cover plate was included in the original accessory kit for the sewing machine. You can get a replacement from many sewing machine parts shops. One source is https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/janome-2200-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?sort.ss_cat_sort=desc&index=1 . The direct link is https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/cover-plate-janome-new-home-825018013.aspx . Some shops sell in a kit with presser feet for free-motion quilting. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

My Janome My Lock 204D was serging great last week, set it up today & it works for about 2 inches then stops & threads are all bunched up! I've changed the needle, rethreaded to no avail! What's up??

Your description made me think you have a tension problem and one review on the website reinforces it - see below. It works but it takes awhile to get it to! 4 years ago I received the Janome MyLock serger as a gift four years ago. It still runs fine, I haven't had to have it repaired and it still looks brand new, after fairly regular use a few times a month. The main problem I have with it is that I have to fix the tension on at least one of the threads EVERY time I sew with it. It doesn't matter if it's just been sitting covered on my desk, I have to fiddle with the tension every time I sit down to sew. I know that sergers are infamous for being hard to thread, but this one is the hardest one to thread I have ever come across! It's nearly impossible to get one of the threads through without having to stick a needle into the tight space and wiggle the thread through. It also was supposedly "ready to sew" the first time it was used; that was a joke, it took me months to finally have time and learn how to use it and it wasn't threaded right so I had to redo it. When you finally do get it threaded and the tension right, it runs like a champ and does a great even stitch!Less icecreammom ยท Reviewed on viewpoints.com

I need a part for my janome overlocker just wondering if you can tell me where to get it from- part number is 785230005 tread guide

Best place to start is the local Janome dealer if you have one in town as they are the authorised dealer. Or search on sewingpartsonline.com, they carry a wide range of items too.

My Janome Finesse 234 overlocker started to stop "looping" I cleaned, oiled & re threaded. It would start of fine but then the cotton on the needle would break or the loopers will stop stitching.

Two things make sure your threading it in the right order. your upper looper first then your lower looper then your needles. If your doing that then change your needles and if your using cheap thread on an overlock it just wont sew right. You need to use a good quality thread on overlocks. Hope that helps

I have a Janome Mylock 334D It stitches well, but starts clunking when run fast.Is this is a big problem or do I dump it. It was a good serger for many years but stored it when moving.

HI, this sometimes happens when it needs cleaning. Sometimes lint and thread gets caught underneath the sewing plate, so try giving it a thorough clean. Hope it helps.

Janome memory craft 8000

We have about 30 electroluminescent backlights for the 8000 still available .These are not original Janome parts. You will need a Janome service person to install then for you as it requires taking apart alot of the machine to get to the display. We can provide instructions if this person is unsure how to fit. Once the display is out, the process is simple. They are AUD$60 each including shipping. Email at [email protected]

How to find the drop foot lever on Janome My Style 30

It is possible. The lever is locted at the rear of the free arm. It is a bit like a switch. The diagram on page five of the manual shows it being operate with the left hand. Push to right to drop feed and push to left to raise feed again. https://www.janome.com/siteassets/support/manuals/economy-models/inst-book-7318-english.pdf You have to remove the extension table to reach the lever on the back of the free arm. If no switch there you need to visit a sewing machine store or call Janomefor more informationuntitled-o5gvir05d535lrdh1adyo1km-3-0.png
