Jamo i300 speakers are dead.

There is peobably a fuse located on the back. Your speaekers are probably okay. If anything fried inside, it is probably the output transistors.

Jamo Sub300. No power. No lights

Well it would void the warrantee, but you can take the back panel off and the power supply will only have two leads (3 if grounded) in from the plug, and out to the crossover. It sounds as if you are correct that the power supply is bad.

No response from DVD - Blue on light flashes but nothing else

I think we're on about the same model here. I found that holding down the "Source" button whilst switching on the power at the mains would temperorly solve this issue. However, it would be nice to switch it on normally.

USB problem

It seems the DVD player is not recognizing 4GB flash disk. I have checked and I can't see that there is a firmware update for this model though I can see one for the DMR 50. Try contacting Jamo support

If you have another usb lead or a lead that can collect two usb sockets to the flash disk you may find this works as there is more 5 volts power available from two sockets.

We depend on you rating solutions - I hope this is useful.

Jamo DMR60- sound doesn't match dvd

I have the same problem. I have been in contact with Jamo Denmakr and Norway. They are aware of the problem. There are two issues/answers:
1 If the DVD your're playing has scratches reading error accumulate and then audio sync problems occur. (My meaning is lo quality DVD drive). You might overcome this by reburning the divx file to a new disc to avoid read errors.
2 The DVD drive itself is defective and should be replaced. Warranty should cover this of course. I do receive my DMR-61 this week after DVD drive change. I hope this will fix it...but I don't believe so. Crossing my fingers.

I have no amp for jamo 1060 sub

Dual Voice-Coil
The unique Dual Voice-Coil design allows both left and right channel sound from just one speaker. Simply hook up both the left and the right channels to the special terminals on the speaker. Hook up one channel only, if the speaker is to be used in a conventional stereo set-up.
I found this on jamo site hope that will help you

Speakers

Any make should do, just be sure the ohms match or else you run the risk of damaging the speakers if they are under rated, or the reciever if they are overrated. Usually it can range from 4 to 8 ohms, which is represented by a horseshoe shaped symbol.

Door won't open

Usually, the gears either become misaligned, or they will break on you - since they are plastic, this is a common issue. There really isn't much you can do. Even opening it up might not do much for you, as it's very hard to get the gears back into place, or to see what is causing the jam in the first place. If you take it to a service center, they shouldn't charge you much if the gears are out of whack. But if something is broken inside, that's a different story. You'll need to find out what caused the error in the first place.
