I have a jamo i200.
Hello
What is the exact model number of your Jamo? Is it [i200 FM OM] or [i200 OM]?. Note it well and inform me by Fixya please. OK.
Replacement feet, feets are broken and need to be
Your best bet is to contact Jamo directly in your country as these will be custom made for your speakers.
Alternatively you maybe lucky and find some on ebay.

I've had this system for
Have you proven it is a problem across the board or was it just that particular source/movie that lacked punch? What about your speaker calibration? Check it.

I would look for somekind of fuse or bracker on the subwoofer and then find an alternitive input to test it suchas a stareo; or try an ohmetter

My JAMO DVD player spins
The laser is probably on its way out if it is not recognising DVDs. Unfortunately this is not an economical part to replace, and cannot be repaired (cleaning it may help with a CD/DVD cleaner disc but there are no guarantees on reliability).
Depending on the age of the player, and taking into account the fact that Blu-Ray players (with DVD playback support) are becoming cheaper to buy, while repairs to existing older models become more expensive, and with parts not always being available, it might be cheaper and easier to buy a new player whenever you can.
You can submit this unit to a service repair centre in the meantime if you wish and obtain a quote on the likely cost(s) (as well as a second opinion from there) by all means, then you can decide afterwards what course of action you wish to take. Up to you, but I don't believe this unit would be economical to fix or particularly reliable in the long term.
Power led on but no
Try to trace the fault systematically from one end of the system to another, starting with something that you know is working
- Start by checking your sound source (cd player or whatever) is working by connecting it to another amplifier or computer.
- Check the connecting cable is working from the sound source to the amp and is not shorted out.
- Make sure your loud speakers actually work (briefly shorting a 1.5 volt AAA battery across the speaker terminals should produce a crackling sound without doing any damage)
- Check loudspeaker cables are properly connected to output connectors and are making a good contact.
- Try connecting something like your computer speakers (or use the microphone in jack on the computer itself) to the line output socket of the Jamo. If you can get some sound this way it would suggest that the internal output overload protection fuse may have blown. You will need to open the case to access this. NOTE if your JAMO is still in warranty take to authorised repairer otherwise you may invalidate your warranty.
Unit turns on no output
I can almost guarantee that you'll find bad electrolytic caps on the power supply board to be the cause of the problem. I've seen several of these with the same problem. The protect circuit stays latched due to excessive ripple.
What do the phase and cut off controls do,manual
Phase reverses the polarity of the driver so it can be matched to the other speakers and bass-reinforcement characteristics of its position in the room. You don't want the sub 'sucking in' while other speakers are 'pushing out' or a bass cancellation will occur.
Set it, listen to bass from your normal seating position, reverse it and observe if the bass gets subjectively better. Leave it in the 'better' position.
Cutoff is a variable for the highest frequency where the speaker 'cuts off'. You can experiment with adjusting it for what sounds to you like the smoothest transition betwen the sub and the othere speakers. You don't want a lot of audible overlap where the sub and other speakers are acting on the same frequencies. It may sound to bassy in that area.
I have Jamo E8sub need
hi,
the ic lm3886 should have voltage at its pin 1 and 5 , because it is the vdd supply pin of that ic. trace out, to where the track goes from pin 1and 5. it should go to the power supply or to any switching circuit. may be problem with its power supply side . any one of the voltage is missing. check the voltage regulators if there. check the power supply side i think complaint lies there. no need to replace the main board . from ur narration i think u have knowledge in electronics. make one more try to solve the problem.
ok
Two of the four suspender devices (or may call
you can find the parts you may need at your locale radio, telephone, communications equip, & systems stores. Look it up in your phone book sand call aound with the part info, your looking for , plus you'll be able to get the cheapest price.

Go to nearest Jamo Service station. Otherwise get a new coil wounded for its tweeter by a local speaker specialist.
DMR 60
insert disc, says loading
I had a similar problem: Found two failed electrolytic capacitors on the powersupply of the DMR unit
(One was 1000 microF, the other 2200 microF) Can tell by the tops being slightly bulged out instead of being flat.
Replaced them, now unit is as new.
