This car has an external amplifier. Something is wrong with the amp. Check your fuses and make sure that the fuse is not blown. Sometimes the fuse will not be labeled. So it is best to just check all of the fuses. If the fuses are good, then something internally in the amp could be bad.

I would have the code checked again if it is still 1646 then you need to check the connector and wiring for this sensor.

Just to confirm that the sensor you changed is the rear (near the engine bay bulkhead) upstream (upper sensor of the two) , in most cases a grey connector.

Charge the battery with an external charger for about 6 hours, then start the engine and measure the battery voltage with the engine running. It should measure 13.5 volts or more. If it reads 12.6 or less volts, then the alternator is not recharging the battery. Take the car to Autozone or similar business for a free check out of the alternator and voltage regulator. Look in the glove box on the passenger side. Feel to the left top side of the opening and you should feel the valet button/ switch. To verify you tripped it, push cat head on the boot. If it does not open you found the switch and engaged it. You should only be able to open boot with the key from now on.
