Take out rear seat and use a torch and long piece of wire to hook your keys.May have to drill hole or remove 1 rear speaker at back windscreen if fitted

Seperate key fobs only can be programmed in the following way.

Turn ignition on/off 8 x times (allow all functions to stabilise) after the 9th on - press a button on both remote fobs. then turn ign. off. use good remote to lock and then try new remote to unlock/lock. sometimes it works first time - sometimes you have to repeat actions. good luck.

To the right (UK)/left(US) and on the dash below the sterring wheel level (near Fog light switch) you will see three buttons A B and Reset. With dash display showing trip millage of the one you wish to reset (A or B) press and hold the reset button for 5 secs.

I don't think there is a fuse but there is a module in the steering column follow the dimmer wires

It could be the heat shield which is external which can be repaired or the catalyst inside the converter may have broken, which means that it must be replaced.

disengage the alarm system by disconnecting the hot wire to it ..then see if this still happens. if it is, and my theory is it is the alternator....start the car , and disconnect the battery..if it stalls it is the alternator.
