Where is cooling fan relay located on a 1997 jaguar xj6 ?

it should be part of the cooling fan module located on or near the fan housing depends if you have a/c trace the wiring from the cooling fan motors and you should locate it but the fans are controlled by the ecm. engine control module so that may not be the problem it may be perhaps a engine temp sensor there is 2 or a a/c prob if s got it.hope this helps

200 jag stype no start anti-theft light flashing

Have you another key and fob ?

Try lock/unlock cycle with new key + fob. Your key may be corrupted.

Try also just unlocking the car with the key (not the fob) as soon as you unlock the door put the key in the ignition immediately and see if the car starts.

If you have your radio code it may be worth trying a total reset (leave the car unlocked) disconnect the battery and leave for 20 mins. then reconnect, most systems will then reboot and this MAY help?
Failing all the above it looks like dealer time - more ££ss

good luck !

Solenoid valves replacement

There are several solenoid valves on that transmission. But generally you remove the oil pan, drain the fluid, remove the valve body and then swap out the solenoids. Not usually a DIY project.

Engine management light on Fault code found p1646

P1646 is a faulty heater circuit on bank 1 upstream o2 sensor. If you have the V6 2.5 petrol engine, then bank 1 is the exhaust manifold nearest the bulkhead ( firewall if you in the states). Replace the upstream o2 sensor. Cost around £70from dealer...not available elsewhere.

Have a 2004 Jaguar xj8 have lost contact with the Navigation screen and climate control I have cold air blowing I have my radio but no control over system, screen is blank help

As with any car run the car for about 1/2 an hour,or until it is hot.Feel your top radiator hose, if it is hard and you cannot flex it. That is telling you your thermostat is stuck in the closed position and your antifreeze, is not circulating, which would explain your cold air. I hope this helped.

Hey guys,, I'm new in all this hunting down problems and chasing codes on vehicles. But I am trying my best here to find out what my girls problem is.. my boyfriend is not really help.think hes over my car an too busy with his ( to make it faster). But anyways I have a 2004 xj8 just pass 60k miles. Head gasket went.. think we temp fixed it. But she has obd codes coming up 2 po405 codes,, po174,,an p1000.. if I could get any help it will be much appreciated.. thank u

P0405 is the EGR valve not circulating exhaust gas's or a bad EGR temp sensor .P0174 is a vacuum leak bank 2 .Possible intake manifold leak from the Head Gasket replacement and P1000 Just means in Jaguars case that the code monitoring has not gone into closed loop due to codes being present . P0174 & P0405.
