I have a Jackson NexGen
I had the same thing happened to my NexGen EQC, I also noticed that occasionally when I inserted the batteries the display would momentarily appear normal then would revert back to the Error of two lines and 1 displayed, I noticed the more I repeatedly depressed the buttons (On / Mode & Range Up / Down) the better it got. I then just exercised the the buttons vigorously and the issue resolved itself. I am a light user and I suspect that the "Contacts" within the switches have Oxidized. I have had this helmet for may years in a low humidity climate, for past 2 years I now live on the Gulf Coast with High Humidity and Corrosion. from now on I will keep the NexGen EQC in my home with the Batteries removed until I need it again.

I have recently purchased a
google the manufacturer for user manual and parts information
as for quality detergents there are catering and commercial cleaning outlets that will have the products that meet standards
you have to decide on the quality verses cost that still meets standards
I have a Jackson bass guitar bought almost two
I would say, that it probably needs a new 9V battery. It had some time to gain some juice after the gig. If a fresh one doesn't help, then the problem could've been the equipment or power outlet distribution at the gig site.
