Why can't I pair it with my LG Smartphone?
You can do this by going to menu-settings then connectivity. Once there you simply select the option to turn ?on? Bluetooth. Some phones don't require you to go to settings first. They provide a separate connectivity icon on the top level of the menu page. Either way, once you turn the Bluetooth function on leave the phone open to the connectivity page.
Now it's time to get your headset into pairing mode. Unfortunately each headset has a different way to accomplish this. You are going to have to read the instructions that came with the headset. In any event is a very simple process which usually consists of holding down a button for a specified amount of seconds until it beeps or flashes a sequence of colors that lets you know the headset is now ready to be paired.
Easy so far right?
Once in pairing mode, have your phone look for a ?hands-free device?. This is where leaving your phone open to the connectivity page comes in handy. Select the option ?look for devices? or ?hands-free?. After a couple of seconds your phone should recognize the headset. Once the phone finds the headset you will now have to select the headset from the list and put in the pin code provided with the headset. Most headsets will use 0000 or 1111 as a pin code.
The whole process should take a first timer about 5 minutes.
Tip 1: Make sure the Bluetooth device is fully charged!
Tip 2: Have the pin code ready.
Tip 3: Make sure the headset is within close proximity of the phone when pairing.
How do I charge?
you are following correct and logical steps to charge your device. If it won't charge, there are two possibilities: Your chager is defective: you can detect charger's output using an electronic tester. If you don't have one, should check it with some electronic repair service If charger is ok, then your battery is dead. Most similar devices have so called "lifetime" rechargable batteries - means, you can't take apart your device to change the battery. I have no idea if your device is or not servicable so just to be sure you won't throw away a rapairable device, check it at some electonic service site. Do you have a manual? This one I found actually doesn't tall much about this device

I need instructions for paring with my phone
Make sure your phone is on discoverable bluetooth on, power on your device, it will be auto on, then your phone may give you a code to punch in or you may just connect. Pretty simple, I found it sometimes asks you to put the code in if you are some distance from your device, ignore it, it should just take a minute and will connect auto.
The freeway does not respond to any phone commands
Be certain that your bluetooth is fully charged, then be certain you follow BOTH your phone's and your bluetooth devices instruction for pairing.
Exactly what phone commands are you trying to get your bluetooth device to respond to?
My blue tooth will not hold a charge
Your battery is no good. If you've had it for a while then the battery's life has been used up. All rechargable batteries have a certain amount of times they can be discharged and recharged. Once that amount is met end of battery. If it is new then send it back for a replacement.
