My camera wont take pics

This could be as a result of the
memory card being right protected by the right protect switch on it.
What you need to solve this problem is remove the memory card out and use the right protect switch and unlock it , you would just require to move the switch from it's position , please find the image below for more assistance.

Sounds like the SD memory card is locked. There is a small switch on the side of the memory card, make sure it is set to "unlock".

OK, if the memory card itself is locked, you might
sometimes get this error code. All you need to do is to take out the
memory card and switch the lever on the left side to the unlock.
If
the error is still displayed after you did the above, you might want to
try the card in another camera.
If
the card works in another camera . the problem is with your card reader
in your camera.
If you open you sd slot and look inside with a
sharp light , you should be able to see on the left side of the slot
there is a little copper or spring steel lever switch. This switch work
as follows:
1. When no card is inserted / no write protection ,
the switch is open and thus the protection is off.
2. When locked
card is inserted , the tab is depressed and tells the camera that the
card is lock.
Contrary to popular belief ,the little tab on the
sd card is not an electronic switch and does not physically influence
the card operation itself. If you put a locked card into a camera
without a sd lock switch , you would still be able to use the card
normally.
It is incredible difficult to fix this switch because
of space limitations in the sd card. Look into the sd slot and if you
can see the switch , use a needle to pull the little tab down toward the
base of the camera by about 2mm or until it works being careful not to
bend it.
If this does not resolve your problem , there might be a
short in the switch circuit and the camera will need to be disassembled
to resolve this error. This should cost no more than $50.

Remove the memory card, check the sides for a switch or a slider. slide it or switch it on the opposite direction. Reinsert memory card and try deleting the photos again.

You'll have to go to the IT works web site, follow links for support and downloads, entering the details of your operating system and camera model as you go. You should eventually come to a webpage which has the driver you need available for download.
Can i charge my camera from my usb port
It should charge but quite a bit slower. Figure about 4 to 6 hours for a full charge. Of course the computer has to be running to power the usb port.
You may also have to change settings for the USB under control panel system hardware device manager then select properties of the usb port. There will be an option for how much power the port will supply.
Or you can just plug it in and see if it works. Most newer ports (USB 2.0 type) support powering usb devices. Only a few older ones (usb 1.0's) won't or can't.

The memory slot is an expansion slot that you can put a camera card (SD card) into so you save all you photo's to that instead of the internal memory.
This is because your camera only has a limited amount of internal memory limiting you to the amount of pictures you can save on the camera.
Purchasing a memory (SD card) is certainly an advantage and they can be used in card readers, MP3 players and computers etc.
