There is an error. Press the triangle and the bot should give you verbal answer. Pressing “clean” button will repeat the directive: “Dust bin full” or “Clean roomba’s rollers” et centers

You did not post what model series it is. The age of the batteries can have a lot to do with this. When the sensors on the battery detect low voltage, the unit returns to the dock. If the dock is not charging the batteries or the batteries are old and need replaced, the unit will do this.

you cleaned the wrong thing there are small ir lights on the under side of the Roomba they look lke small red buttons clean the lenses with a q-tip and, alcohol. these infrared leds are the roomba's eyes you'd go in circles too if you couldn't see obstacles.

It will either need ...emptying.....recharging ...or pairing with the dongle which is designed to stop the roomba from going outside its designated cleaning zone.

You should check the dock if there is an output voltage at the charging terminals.

under warranty take it in for warranty repair or exchange you try to fix it and the warranty is voided just tip it upside down and check for threads wrapped around brushes and rollers / wheels

Just replace it with one that works since it is new.

Battery needs to be replaced. It is worn out.

Would it be that you wound up with someone else's problem and that is why they sold it at a garage sell?

Check your suction. If there is no or little suction at the hose end then check for a plugged hose and all the suction areas. Make sure your filters are clean as well. Should be one and possibly two.

check the warranty period and if still under warranty , take it back for a warranty check

I have cleaned every part of my Roomba without any problems. Over a year ago my dog had a serious case of the runs. Before we got home my Roomba i780 equipped with it's millions of dollars worth of R&D effectively spread said dog "business" evenly to every single square inch of hardwood floor and carpet in my house. It was quite a scene, and cost me a pair of $300 Ugs to get my girlfriend to clean it up. Needless to say I took it completely apart and washed every single component. Actually I washed each component several times because the smell lingered. While it says in the instructions not to use cleaning solutions on the components I can say that in my experience it did not cause any harm. Mine has been working for over a year since without issue. I should add that prior to this happening I had cleaned the cleaning head module with fantastic many many times. I'm guessing yours is starting to accumulate that mm thick film of dirt. Just spray a paper towel with cleaning solution and slowly wipe it off. I have found putting a cloth over a screwdriver for "soft scraping" is good strategy.
