I have an insignia 46" tv I replaced the main board, the tv works except the picture is upside down, what will correct this problem

Flip the TV over! Just kidding!! When you installed the main board was it identical to the old main board? If so, you might want to look at the old board and ensure there are no jumpers that needed to be set on the new board. Some companies make generic control boards for tvs but have different jumper settings for different models. The jumpers are just little black blocks that connect different pins to each other on top of the circuit board.

Insignia tv wont stay on

You have a week capacitor on the power board. It warms up and shuts off to not damage the rest of the TV.

I have a 60" LCD insignia TV model 55E480A13A. I here sound but no picture.

Hello Ivan, for what you are saying, your Badge would have problems in the back lighting of the LCD panel (BackLight) Usually one or more LEDs are burned, this causes the lighting system and the TV to be interrupted, it keeps the screen dark and with sound You should replace all of the LEDs, to ensure a repair that lasts longer, because if you only replace the burned ones, at any time another of the originals is burned and you have to do the work again, with the purpose of breaking the LCD panel I hope you can solve the problem, comment the results Greetings Franco Dosil Hola Ivan, por lo que comentas, tu Insignia tendr?a problemas en la iluminaci?n trasera del panel LCD (BackLight) Por lo general se queman uno o mas Leds, esto hace que se interrumpa el sistema de iluminaci?n y el TV, se queda con la pantalla oscura y con sonido Deber?as reemplazar la totalidad de los Led, para asegurar un reparaci?n que dure mas tiempo, porque si solo reemplazas los quemados, en cualquier momento se quema otro de los originales y tienes que hacer el trabajo nuevamente, con el riesgo de romper el panel LCD Espero puedas resolver el problema, comenta los resultados Saludos Franco Dosil http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/pdf/E480A13A_Manual.pdf

No sound on my 32'' Insignia LCD HDTV

I have a question? Do you move your Television frequently, OR do you unplug it frequently when it's not in use? I have found that doing either or both of those things can bring on problems, especially audio problems.

I've had the disappearing sound problem twice with my Element FLX-2610. This latest time I was stumped because the full scan didn't resolve the problem. And of course, the sparse manual that comes with the TV contains no troubleshooting advice at all.

But I did find a suggestion on another sveral other sites: Reset the TV. You might have a small reset button (like you would find on a DSL modem) somewhere on your TV but there is a manual way to do it two. Whichever way you do, MAKE SURE to disconnect every single device (yep, it's a pain) and UNPLUG the TV before doing this.

To reset with a reset button, disconnect devices and unplug the TV. Depress the reset button for 5 seconds. Reconnect devices, then plug in the TV.

Manual Procedure:
Disconnect all devices
Unplug the Television
Using the on/off button on the Television (NOT on the remote), depress and hold the button for 5 seconds.
Reconnect the devices, then plug in the TV.

Unless something has shorted out or burned up inside, this resetting, as a last resort, should fix the audio problem. Worked like a charm for me!

Good Luck!
Nena
