Ingenico IPP350 Does anyone know how to factory reset the unit?

Ingenico IPP350 is not meant to be user reset, If you find a small round hole on the back or the bottom that would be just the right size for an unbent paperclip to be pushed into, try pushing a paperclip into that hole for 10 to 30 seconds to reset to factory. Be aware that you may not be able to configure it, as a user, after doing that.

We've changed the roll on

That is a thermal printer. The print head uses heat to react with the paper to make it turn dark. If the paper is not installed upside down, then the issue is the printer itself and since it does get hot it will burn out. Time for a new one I am afraid.

Not working

The only real reason this would not work is it is not hooked up to a phone/internet line or you are not set up properly with a processor. You have to establish a gateway and a merchant service depending on what forms of payment you are going to accept.

How do i fix ingenico i6780? The screen is black

Ensure there is power to the Signature Capture Pad (SCP). If there is power to the SCP, you should see a lit LED in the top-left hand corner. If not, then it is a power issue. Check your power supply and the powerbar or outlet it is plugged in to. If there is a lit LED, then chances are the board-level battery is dead. It's a button-style battery. You can not replace it yourself. You will need to contact Ingenico or the company that sold it to you, to arrange for them to replace this battery. Any attempt to open the SCP will most likely result in completely disabling the SCP, requiring it to be sent to Ingenico for repair.

Debit unavailable and credit is working

Call your Credit Card Processing company and tell them you need to have debit transactions enabled. They will need to update the software in your machine (you can't do it yourself). It will only take them a few minutes for them to fix.
