Sometimes these amps have been known to get hot very easily. That said, I would first confirm the resistance on your speakers at rest is 4 ohms each, so that your amp is seeing a 2 ohm load. Be sure that the smart switch on each sub is flipped to the 4 ohm mode, and measure each separately.
Be sure that you've properly set the filters, gain, and bass boost so that your amp is not being over driven. Your HP filter should be set no lower than 20Hz--most music is never going to go that low so there is no point. A narrower frequency band is always going to be healthier for your subwoofer. The LP filter should be set no higher than 90 to 100 Hz at the most, depending on how much midbass your speakers can handle, so that you don't have too much of a sonic gap between the subs and mids. As for the gain, a good place to start is with your radio set at it's highest comfortable, distortion free setting, minus 25%, then start with the amp's bass boost all the way down, and the gain set to the minimum level at which you can just begin to hear music. Choose a bass heavy track if you ever listen to bass heavy music, so we can prepare for the most stress that the amp will experience. Slowly turn up the gain until you start to hear distortion during heavy bass hits, and back off 20% - 25%. This should be the highest volume you ever push your amp to, and from here, you can ever so slightly turn up the bass boost if you absolutely must, but not to the point of any distortion, if you hear any, back it off a bit.
