I have a new iHome Optical travel mouse on my laptop. I can't get it to work.

Did you put in new batteries.Did you try a different USB port.Did you go to start button, control panel, windows update, run windows update, if it needs a driver, win update might find it.Usually windows will use a generic driver for any usb mouse and as soon as you plug it in windows see's it.It should have come with a disk, maybe there is a driver on it, but rare windows can't find it.If you try these things and noting, its the mouse, contact the seller or the MFG and ask them for help, send email.
