wow posting hard RAID questions here and not on actual IBM forum,. why do that? i can do HP or dell but not IBM on dell R710 it is automatic raid 6 (8 drives) can fail 2 and run. what raid hardware is it Ibm What raid card there/ is this RAID 6?????? if not why not. how big is each drive and now many,? drives did you read the raid controller manual first, after all no 2 servers on earth work the same unless are EXACTLY the same. fact key not told. Depends- where is it exactly slow? is it while surfing the internet, or when running progrmas? either way, you can make it go faster.
If your internet is slow, you should scan your computer for viruses and spyware using suitable programs(for example- avast anti virus or spybot). If you still experience the same problem I would advise you to delete the computer after backing it up, and then installing a new copy of Windows.

Try loading DVD decodeing softawre, windows media player rarely plays DVD's without help from other decoding software. Use this link, download, and try this. Then let me know.

I mean you can find many subtitles to DVD movie on the internet, just use google and search for the title of the film and write subtitle (lang ex. english) after.

Go to the IBM web site, select your printer model and OS type. Follow the onscreen instructions.

The easiest thing to do is replace the PSU. IF you are in to checking component level issues, check the MOSFETS and the diodes.

It should have been sent to pasture many years ago as it is 35 years old!

To access the Power jack you need to disassemble to entire system.
Make sure remove power, battery then Memory and HDD. The CMOS battery must be remove also before do anything, (Or plug off from Motherboard) Any metal touches on board while battery is on, will destroy the motherboard. So make sure do not drop any screw on board with battery is on(CMOS) Or touch with screwdriver.
You need to parted out everythink with care and put aside by taking notes. every screw sizes different, wrong assembling will result the system not to power on again. Line up what ever taking off with care.
If you do so, make sure every socket you remove, seats back tide and nice, ANY banding, or HARD push will break parts, so be gentle. Do not band Motherboard, casues the copper lines cracks on board, result does not power on or even fry the board. If you will solder the Power jack, You need to be carefull, not to leak any leads on board or solder over used. To make sure you need also OHM meter to check the connections are ok. Reverse is important, be carefull and take your time if you want your system runs again. Mean time clean your fan system. You will need this.
If you do not experiences before, do not do anything. Take it to Tech.

You can only change the region code up to 4 times then it locks on the last change.
There are some firmware upgrades that can change the drive to region free, if you can screw it up or put in the wrong frmware upgrade then the DVD drive will be a piece on junk.
I suggest you install a region free software that will allow you to play any region DVDs.
Go to www.dvdidle.com to get their Region-Free software, it is not very expensive.

try removing the cmos battery. power in on without the battery.

In some BIOS password configurations , you can set a user password and an administrator password . Sometimes the user password lets the computer boot but won't let you in the BIOS setup, but on other occasions, the user password will do both.

If you are on a net ware network logon
If not you have the netware client installed by mistake remove it

Check if they are on the wheel. They had a habit of spokes snapping off.
