the car should have a climate control which runs the heater and ac together to maintain a set cabin temp have the operation checked out

I would first try checking a few junk yards to see if you can find a new climate control panel, as if you buy them new they are crazy expensive and there is a core charge to go with them, to encourage you to return the old one to them for "Recycling" aka to be re-manufactured. Go to Hyundai motors factory website and explain this to them. They might get the dealer to fix it since the problem was never fixed correctly before the warranty ran out.

The noise is very likely from the power steering pump, that is the most common cause, it is either low on fluid or the pump is defective. See picture of pump below.

it will have a low pitch bearing rumble at idle it will be very audible if you use a noise magnifier ( screw driver with the blade against the body of the pump and the handle in your hand held as a cup against your ear, or a stethoscope available from an auto parts shop if you are experiencing water loss from the radiator/cooling system there is a small drain hole under the body of the pump that drains water from a failing water pump seal before it gets to the bearing

We have auto part supply stores here. I wonder if you do. I get my parts from a auto parts supply store and it is cheaper than a dealer. When going make sure you have make - model and year . They will need all the info for your car.

Recourse depends on where you are. In Australia for instance you may have recourse due to consumer legislation. The fact there was no metal in the diff oil indicates it may be some other problem. I would take it to another shop, a trans specialist or someone knowledgable about Hyundais if you can find one, for a second opinion. Sounds like your EGR Valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). I had a 1995 Mazda MX3 and a 1998 Mazda Prot?g? that both had the same problem. The symptoms are as you described them. Check your vacuum lines for a leak first, they too can cause your idle to fluctuate, make your vehicle feel as though it's losing power (horse power) and make the vehicle feel as though it's going to stall when coming to a stop while you're applying the brakes.

There was a factory recall for this problem which apparently related to the brake switch. So check with hyundai service on that recall. See here..................... Multiple Hyundai recalls for brake lamps and rust issues affect nearly 1M...

I do not believe it does on this. You will most likely need a knuckle attachment for you ratchet but that should be it for getting it out.

Check for voltage on headlight plug with a car voltage probe or a globe with a wire soldered on one side for the probe wire and another wire soldered to globes other terminal to Earth - terminal or car body . when 12V switched globe lights up . Then you can test low beam relay is getting voltage from headlight switch. You can check fuse is supplying 12v to low beam. You can check relay is switching 12V to low beam headlight .
