check fuses and relays their are different locations for air bag sensors and their is also seat belt sensors and seat switches [check the connections under the seat ]---their are sensors under the front bumper behind the valance by the radiator support also if air bag curtains passenger side between inner fender, door and door pillar the following links have information or what to look for and assist in solving your problem the recall doesn't cover your vehicle but it pertained to the passenger air bag problem as well as the 05 posting

This came directly from my Hyundia service guy:

Unlock the car, get in and close all doors. Turn the ignition key to ACC, press the Unlock button till blinkers flash. That's it. Get out of the car and see if it works.

Sounds like you have an issue with the shifter interlock. Either a bad actuator solenoid, cable, or brake switch I would think.

If you are talking about an automatic transmission, then yes it is normal. When you drop it into Drive or Reverse, the torque converter is now mechanically connected to your transmission, which is connected to your driveline, through the fluid inside your torque converter, which creates a drag on the engine, causing the rpms to drop. some cars have a separate control for driver and pass. temp setting. check that one isn't set to cold and one to hot. if ok it can be a stuck flap or bad module.

Well, ya might wanna do the Math; the money you spent for the New ECU, Plus reprogramming, Plus a new Valve timing belt, Plus other issues which are not evident because, the Car isn't running... I'm pretty sure we've past the Car's value.

However,
You need the Key that is for that ECU
OR
A *new key needs to be programed into the ECU
Also, since the ECU has been unplugged for x amount of time; The ECU needs to be programed, Now
*Your OLD Key may not be readable.

For do it yourselfers; When replacing PCM/ECUs,
Body PCMs, Programable Fuel injection, Instruments and such... with used parts
Recommend; getting access to a complete RUNNING donner Car at Pick and Pull or Pull Part or...

probably nothing. its only 10% ethanol and most cars are already running it these days. at least in the USA

Most fuels now may or may not have ethanol but it could have up to 10% of ethanol in gas as stated on the pump dispenser. So you should be ok
