2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, I change the battery in the key remote now there is no cranking why?

This is based from my experience working before as a Marketing Consultant in Hyundai Southern Mindanao, Inc.. since I encountered this issue from one of our clients. This is how our mechanic explained, now I do not know if this applies to your Hyundai Sta. Fe 2010 SUV too, but since that was also a Hyundai Sta. Fe (forgot the year model), here's what the mechanic explained. It's possible that changing the battery in your key remote has caused an issue with your car's immobilizer system. The immobilizer is designed to prevent the car from starting if the key is not recognized, and it can be triggered by a variety of factors, including a low battery in the key remote. The clicking noise you're hearing from the tail light relay and under the left side of the dash may be related to the immobilizer system. The flashing red light and blinking park lights may also be indicators of an issue with the immobilizer. One thing you can try is to reprogram the key remote to see if it resolves the issue. This can usually be done by following a specific sequence of button presses on the remote while the key is in ignition. Refer to your owner's manual for specific steps to follow. If you are hesitant to do this, you may need to have the immobilizer system checked by a professional mechanic.

What is the clearance for Hyundai H100 piston Diesel

What exactly do you mean by an "overhaul"? More information please. Which diesel engine is this? The 2.5 litre or the 2.6 litre? What year is your vehicle? Some engines can be different settings depending on the size it is. I'm assuming this is for the clearance between the valve rockers and the spring end of the valves? If you're breaking rockers your mechanical timing might not be set correctly risking bent valves or the valves are already bent. Even One tooth out on the timing belt/chain can cause problems. You might need to take the cylinder head off to check the valves. When you set the clearances the engine needs to be Cold and the cylinder you're working on needs to be at Top Dead Centre (TDC) to make sure the valves are closed. On an inline 4 cylinder engine the cylinders work as pairs, 1 and 4, 2 and 3. Set cylinder number 1 to TDC. Set the clearances for only cylinders 1 and 4. Using the crank pulley bolt turn cylinder 1 to Bottom Dead Centre, (180' turn clockwise). This should bring cylinders 2 and 3 to TDC so you can set those clearances. Is the engine burning the oil? (a thicker, more blue exhaust smoke than normal). Burning oil can also be a sign of a blown head gasket or badly worn piston rings.

Complete head torque settings for hyundai getz 1.4 16 valve g4ee engine 2006

  1. First, tighten all the bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  2. Tighten all the bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) in sequence, starting from the center and working outward.
  3. Tighten all the bolts to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft) in sequence again, starting from the center and working outward.
  4. Finally, tighten all the bolts an additional 90 degrees in sequence again.
Please note that it's important to follow the correct torque sequence and to use a torque wrench to ensure that the bolts are tightened to the correct specifications. It's also recommended to replace the head bolts with new ones to ensure proper torque and head gasket sealing.

My Hyundai Matrix boot is open and the lock is in the locked position

You will need to unlock it and open the boot as if it was closed properly. A boot latch cannot be released by pushing on the actual hook latch. If it is fitted with a remote button or lever try using that to release the latch.

The torque specification for the rocker shafts on the 2001 Hyundai Accent with the 1.5L single overhead cam engine is 18-20 lb-ft. The proper torque sequence is as follows:
  1. Tighten the bolts to 8 lb-ft in a crosswise pattern.
  2. Increase the torque to 15 lb-ft, again in a crosswise pattern.
  3. Finally, tighten the bolts to the full torque of 18-20 lb-ft, again in a crosswise pattern.
Make sure to use a torque wrench and follow the sequence carefully to ensure proper tightening and prevent damage.

I don't have specialty tools I need to get a new timing chain on a 2008 Hyundai sonata 2.4l I'm trying to get top dead center on the compression stroke if anyone can help

Getting the engine to top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke is an important step when replacing the timing chain on a 2008 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L. Here are the general steps to follow: 1. Locate the timing marks: Look for the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the camshaft sprocket. The crankshaft pulley should have a mark on it, and the camshaft sprocket should have two marks that need to be aligned. 2. Rotate the engine: Rotate the engine by hand using a socket wrench on the crankshaft bolt. Turn the engine clockwise until the timing marks on the camshaft sprocket are aligned. 3. Check the piston position: Remove the spark plug from the number one cylinder and use a long screwdriver to feel for the position of the piston. When the piston is at the top of its stroke, you will feel resistance. 4. Adjust the position: If the piston is not at TDC on the compression stroke, rotate the engine again until it is. You may need to rotate the engine several times to get it in the correct position. 5. Double-check the timing marks: Once the piston is at TDC on the compression stroke, double-check the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the camshaft sprocket to ensure they are still aligned. Once you have confirmed that the engine is at TDC on the compression stroke, you can proceed with installing the new timing chain. It's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and to torque all bolts to the correct specifications. If you are unsure about any step of the process, it may be best to consult with a mechanic or seek further guidance from an expert source.

Ignition key won't turn Hyndai VeraCruz

I have a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz and for no reason my steering wheel locked in position and the key would not turn. I tried everything for over an hour and then thought about disconnecting the battery to let all the electronics reset. I prayed about the situation and had other things to do so I left the battery disconnected for about an hour and when I returned connected the battery and magically (or a God answered prayer) the problem was solved steering wheel turned, key turned and engine started.

Check and make sure the catalic converter is not blocked, its a common problem on accents.

Whats alot of carbon, if it reaaly bad you might want to remove intake manifold and clean it, or if its not to bad run engine at 1500 revs and spray nulon carby cleaner in slowly to clean it out.
