Car does not heat quick enough
You Most likely have a bad or stuck open thermostat..most are set to stay shut until the engine coolant reaches 190-195 degree thus giving quick hot water to the heater core and defroster and then release the hot water to the radiator to cool down and recirculate though the engine..most are easy to change if you are a DIY mechanic..if not, not a hard job or too expensive depending on the garage...you can go on utube and ask how to replace it using your vehicle type and yesr in the question..good luck
Oil pressure switch leaking
Try tightening but be careful it can break..if sill leaking replace it..any auto parts store carry or can order them.not a bug job..good luck..
Sunroof wont close
If your sunroof is stuck in the tilt position and seems to be off track, you might be able to troubleshoot and fix the issue on your own. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you address the problem:
- Check the Owner's Manual: Before attempting any repairs, consult your vehicle's owner's manual for guidance on sunroof operation, troubleshooting, and safety precautions.
- Check the Fuse: Sunroofs often have a dedicated fuse in the vehicle's fuse box. Check the fuse related to the sunroof and replace it if it's blown.
- Battery Disconnect: If the sunroof is not responding at all, you might try disconnecting the vehicle's battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This can sometimes reset the sunroof's control module.
- Inspect for Obstructions: Look around the edges of the sunroof to make sure there are no debris, leaves, or other obstructions preventing it from closing properly. Clear away any debris carefully.
- Manual Closing: Many sunroofs have a manual override feature. This is usually accessed through a small port in the headliner or by removing a cover near the sunroof controls. Insert the provided tool (usually your vehicle's key) into the manual override and gently turn it to manually close the sunroof.
- Gently Assist Closure: If the sunroof is partially open, you might be able to gently push it along the track while someone operates the close button. Be very careful not to apply excessive force, as this could damage the mechanism further.
- Check for Misaligned Tracks: Sometimes, the sunroof tracks can become misaligned. Inspect the tracks for any obvious signs of misalignment or damage. If you're comfortable, you might attempt to reposition the tracks gently.
- Professional Repair: If none of the above steps work or if you're unsure about performing repairs on your own, it's recommended to take your vehicle to a professional mechanic or a dealership that specializes in your vehicle's make and model. They will have the expertise and tools to diagnose and repair the issue correctly.
Remember that working on your vehicle's sunroof can be tricky, and improper handling could lead to further damage or injury. If you're not confident in your ability to fix the issue, it's best to seek professional assistance.

2007 Entourage AC Not Working, Check Engine Light On
Well you know where to startYou have a check engine light & if youdid not,you still check for codes & then go toenhanced codes & body functions & A/C moduleWithout a factory diagnostic manual & service workbook to learn the system your done, even so for a dealeror shopHave to have that info Not my place to ask who has worked on it& what your plans are to resolve
When i make a short trip in my car, turn it off
Hi there by stating the air wont work do you mean the heater motor isn't blowing air. if so have your heater blower motor checked or it could be a faulty heater resistor pack or bad wiring on either parts.
Hyundai Getz misfiring
Have you diagnosed the car for error codes? Upon reading your question I first thought about the HT leads anp plugs. You replaced those. Next step is to suspect dirty (clogged) fuel injectors. Pour a whole bottle of a good fuel injector fluid into almos empty fuel tank. Then add ONLY 2 gallons (8 liters) of fuel. Drive car around like "you stole it". Try to floor it or fully accelarate in 2nd gear as mech as you can, revvin ebgine above 4000 rpms.
If there was any dirt, varnish or clog in any injector, this procedure should fix it in a day or two.
Still do get an error code diagnosis as soon as possible. You may be surprised about what sometimes comes up.
WHERE IS THE FUEL PUMP IN HYUNDA SONATA
It is inside the fuel tank. It is one of a three part assemby device that goes inside gasoline yank. This assembly is composed by the fuel filter, fuel pump and fuel level gauge sending unit.
It is serviceable ONLY by qualified mechanics under very specific safety conditions.
What causes the ignition switch to keep the starter engaged?
Hi Melissa,When you twist the ignition key from the "on" or "run" position to the start position, three things happen to start the engine. They are: a) the starter solenoid is energized [the starter solenoid is needed because the ignition switch has small wires capable of carrying 20 or 30 amps at the most and the starter motor will require hundreds of amps to spin - the solenoid can safely switch this huge amount of current], b) the starter drive gear solenoid (electro-magnet) is energized and physically causes the starter drive gear to move and engage the teeth on the engine's flywheel, and c) the starter motor spins the drive gear. The spinning drive gear turns the flywheel - simulating a very slow running engine. This sets up the timings for spark plug firing, fuel intake, compression, combustion, exhaust, etc. Without spinning the engine the timings wouldn't exist. The same happens when the starter rope is pulled on a typical lawn mower engine - except the starter is the person pulling the rope and the electro-magnet solenoid drive gear is the mechanical, spring loaded spool of rope (that magically is coiled up after pulling to start the engine.Once the key is released, it defaults by spring action to the "run" position. The run position provides power to the ignition system to provide spark, etc. but electrically disconnects the power from the starter solenoid (and starter motor and drive gear solenoid as a result). If the starter remains engaged after the key has been released from the start position (and the key moves back to the run position as designed), it could very well be a faulty ignition switch that is failing to open the electrical connection to the start solenoid. You *may* have some success by spraying a liberal amount of "electrical contact cleaner" directly into the key opening on the ignition switch. It will clear dirt, grime and other stuff that doesn't belong in it - so it may drip out very dirty - that means it's doing its job. Work the key in and out of the ignition and twist back and forth while spraying into the lock. With any luck, you'll clean the contacts enough so that it works properly. Never spray graphite or lubricants into the ignition switch - those products can be used on door locks only.I hope this helps & good luck!
