Horn will not sound pride hurricane
The horn is a a small peizeo horn. You can generally get them at radio shack. The horn voltage is 24v. Before you run and get a horn, you need to see if the horn accidentally was disconnected due to a bad solder joint or the wire had been accidentally pinched and cut from a previous service. This horn generally does not go bad. The button on the dash is usually the culprit. While you have it apart you need to look at the button closely. The best way to check this this to have the scooter on and touch both wires in the bottom of the switch with a screwdriver and see if the horn sounds. If it does, replace the switch. If it doesn't, then it is either the horn or a bad circuit. Depending on how comfortable you are messing with electricity. You can apply direct voltage from the batteries with a jumper wire and see if the horn works or you can use a voltmeter to check the circuit. I usually just use the jumper wires. It's fast and easy. If horn works then it's in the circuit, if it doesn't you have to start with replacing the horn.
Scooter keeps stopping randomly. The battery level
These units are 24 volt systems. If the voltage at the controller drops below 18 volts the controller will cut out. Shutting the unit off and back on resets the controller. Since your battery gauge is dropping into the red when accelerating your batteries are suspected to be bad. If the batteries LOAD test fine then check your battery harness and circuit breaker wiring for a loose and / o r hot connection after riding it.
My scooter has power but won't move and it flash
Error code 8 means an internal controller error or problem and requires replacement of the controller. If Medicare purchased your scooter then contact a provider to get repaired or you can call a service company such as Roadrunner Mobility at 1-800-467-2668 or Repair Xpress at 1-877-581-3733 and they will bill Medicare for most of the repair costs. Hope this helps
Where is the serial no
It's on the inside of the tiller which you have to unscrew from the bottom of the handle bar
Has more power going in reverse then forward
Sounds like the motor polarity has been reversed. Have the motor wires been disconnected recently. If so they MAY have been refitted the wrong way round but this would be difficult as the plug that connects them should only fit together in one way so shouldnt be able to fit together the wrong way. Could also be main control box. I have seen this happen in the past! You need to see a dealer with a diagnostics machine. They should be able to correct the problem. Hope this helps...
I own a pride mobility scooter with an issue of stopping
It could be a loose battery connector and the controller heats up when it's trying to pull amperage out of the batteries but can't because of the loose connection Try tightening bolts on batteries but disconnect them first. Also it could be the brake on the motor and if the unit isn't shutting off the lights on the tiller blink in patterns to let you know what problems to check for.
How often should I visit my dentist?
Most adult and children visit the dentist for regular
checkups and cleanings every six months. People at greater risk should have
checkups more often.
