The lock symbol means the buttons are locked to stop kids etc or accidentally changing the settings. The owners book should say what to press to unlock it. Most of the time, 1 or 2 of the buttons need to be pressed down for a few seconds to unlock. I have no idea which buttons.

If there is a button next to the filter change button try holding it down until the light turns off.

Most times the cover has an interlock. Look for something prijecting from cover and the a place where this would fit into. Align cover then close. If you dont see one then look under or behind filter. Also check the filter is installed correctly (direction of airflow). Remove power (unplug or circut breaker) then power back on might reset as well.

Could be the motor or maybe no power is reaching the motor. U need to check for that also.
