Cant make calls or texts or receive calls or texts
Might be a problem with the network part. I mean the transceiver built in. Do another reset and see whether it fixed the phone. In most case, if the reset couldn't fix it, the problem might be hardware
HTC 7 Surround stuck at splash screen
your explanation doesn't make sense.
True people don't want to lose their data and if not backed up too bad.
Much is already backed up on google and reloads when reset.
Your question fits many who don't own the phone.
Take the phone back where you got it and have them fix it.
There is a problem with the phones boot loader and yes it can mess up on OTA from cell carrier; but mostly it is caused from people trying to root/crack/etc..
HTC Vivid will not turn on.
You need to get to the boot loader menu. Press and hold the volume down button, then power up the device while keeping the volume down key pressed, that will get you into the boot loader.
The first thing you should try is just to select the option that lets you restart the phone.
If the phone doesn't restart successfully, get into the boot loader again and select safe mode. if the phone lets you into safe mode, try deleting any extra files and/or apps that you most recently downloaded then restart the phone.
If that doesn't work, repeat the steps above to get into the boot loader and then select factory data reset. This will completely reset the phone to factory specs, this is a last resort option, but it will get rid of whatever is causing the phone to have issues.
If none of that works, you need to contact your cell phone provider to see if they can do anything for you.

HTC Touch lost the WiFi ability
I think phone needs software reset. Below is the link about performing soft reset and hard reset on HTC touch. Try soft reset first. if it doesn't work, try hard reset. If after hard reset still no success, try to flash firmware. But I think hard reset can resolve the problem. Note, that hard reset will delete the storage entirely, so backup any data befor performing those manipulations.

The question is the same as before. Is there any reason why a HTC 10 will not work with Virgin sim
There a few questions to be asked before an valid reply can be produced. Is your HTC 10 on contract with a cell phone carrier? Meaning did you out right buy the device or did you sign up and receive the phone as part of your cell phone plan? If your phone is paid for and your contract is up then you will need to contact that carrier your phone was on and have them unlock (release your phone) so it can then be used on another network.
Stuck in recovery mode
Your device might have broken Volume buttons, due to this, once you turned on your device it will automatically go to recovery mode. Note that recovery mode can only be accessed when the device is powered off, and turning on the device while pressing the power button and volume down will directly go to recovery mode.
Try checking your device volume if it is pressing or pushed down, or better send it to a technician for diagnosis.
There are also several reasons why your device directly go to Recovery mode, either your phone software is crashed or your phone hardware is broken.
