sounds like a browser error rather than a wifi issue. It seems that the app you are using is having difficulty, something to do with the settings perhaps
Touchpads are really sensitive to the type of charger and cable that is required to charge them. I have had trouble charging mine in the past, but the best form of charger appears to be a touchstone.
It might me worthwhile getting a specific USB charger for the Touchpad that provides enough output. A normal phone charger does not have sufficient power.
